If bitcoin have weak security, i'm sure by now bitcoin would be controlled by government or dead.
Bitcoin is still alive is the proof that bitcoin network is really strong. Most bitcoin stolen/lost usually because user fault or 3rd party service bug anyway Roll Eyes

I secondly agree with you....bitcoin is still on and growing stronger..population keeps increasing of those using it

Yes that is why bitcoin survive and and continue on growing value because of the rapid growth of users demand increases too. And surely
people will gonna support this virtual currency even the government do not.

bitcoin very rapid development it makes bitcoin will be strong. the day the bitcoin continues to spread nothing could stem the bitcoin
of course bitcoin will be stronger in the future
i thinkit depend on the interest of the people, if people are interested in bitcoin then they will try to invest their money here and so bitcoin will become more and more stronger.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I guarantee bitcoin has very strict security if you're taking advantage of all the security features that have been provided by blockchain.

How strong Bitcoin is depends on it's users because they actualy determine the value by demand and supply, how much they use it and how much is adopted. Security is also very important question and it matters if people who are using Bitcoins feel safe and secured. As long as people want it and use it it will have the value.

nothing is perfect in this world, but if it happens, it will take a very long time, when they tried to hack her, the bitcoin users also fix all the weaknesses that exist within bitcoin, all of this has always kept a continuous
well bitcoin seems to be perfect currency right now, but it has to be updated from time to time, because the thing that is not evolving with time is going to be replaced by something else, like cash is going to be replaced by bitcoins

Well if you see how bitcoin crashed 2 times in 1 month you can see it's not very strong. Then we have the blocksize debate where parties are not seeming to agree what needs to happen

That could hardly be called a crash

A genuine crash should persist at least for some time. What we have seen (especially the first time) looked more like a manipulated attempt to instigate a panic selling. While this attempt certainly succeeded at some point, the market was quick to find out what's going on and the second time panic selling didn't even start for real (despite the fact that the reason for it should have produced more severe decline). The very fact that Bitcoin is skyrocketing right now tells much about how manipulated these so-called crashes were

Bitcoin is still an experimental work. So it is necessary to keep this in mind when assessing the bitcoin. It is not a seated system like traditional money systems. So the price fluctuations are very normal. It is very important to be able to act calmly in dump and pump situations.

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
I can considered bitcoin now is very strong, just look at the price value of bitcoin so far, and the community really loved it, they became more aggressive to apply the usage of bitcoin to their lives, were some the biggest investors are also getting interest to invest into bitcoin. due some of the biggest company are already adopted the system of bitcoin.

That is right, if someone can use a calculator to hack it, then I think there are a lot of news about bitcoin getting hacked by some Casio calculator or wierd stuffs like that, if you think of it, even hacking someone's private key is really hard the possibilities of hacking these bitcoin wallet and private key is almost close or equal to zero. So bitcoin's security is really top notch and can't be hacked easily buy some matimathecian or some sorts.

Yes bitcoin do have military grade security online and in physical companies but always remember that no system is safe.Yes the bitcoin physical company is secured but the online system tho it is secured it can still be hijacked by pro hacker groups that aims to destroy or steal bitcoins.Every online thing is vulnerable of being hacked wether how much you protect it

I mean nearly 9 years with billions of dollars at stake and it still keeps kicking, I would think that is pretty damn strong. Someone did the math on reddit and you have a better chance of hitting the lottery than you do bruteforcing private keys. That being said, some wallets might have bugs in address creation.

I don't see it as a major problem since it can be corrected, right now I'm more focus on the market of bitcoin and if you will analyze bitcoin had already achieve a great numbers of investors and supporters. With the growing value, I think it is wise to take advantage by buying now, we all have one goal which is to profit so we have to take risk as bitcoin pose great potential for the future that will give us an experience of winning lottery if possible.

if measuring the strength bitcoin this time, I think it would be very difficult, because every day, bitcoin always increase. moreover, so much support is provided for bitcoin, from large companies that exist in the world.

it is not about bitcoin, it is because bitfinex security system is not good enough and hackers attacked and change all the address. Dont blame Bitcoin, it is very good right now. If you do not like Bitcoin, you can change to another type of currency

That's completely correct, exchange sites are more prone to hacking because it is where a lot of money are stored, and because of that people lose their money not because of their negligence but because of a certain site. I hope that will serve as a learning experience for those who lose their money not to trust their money in one site only although it's a popular exchange sites.

You can't blame them if they put their money in those popular exchangers because that is how they create money because if they see a dump and then they can actually buy right away because it is very easy to buy when you already have the money. I also do the same thing with altcoin exchangers, i put the 75% of my bitcoin into sites like poloniex because when an altcoin dump, i can easy buy and make profits.

If your friend thinks Bitcoin can be hacked, good for him. But ever since the Bitcoin appeared on the radar, not a single time it has been breached. What your friend doesn't understand is that BTC is not some random network operating next door. It's the most widely used, yet the most secure cryptocurrency out there. You will need plenty of supercomputer and some killer programming skills, and after a few years, you might be able to hack into one bitcoin address.

The bitcoin network has been running non stop for around 8 years, there is around 20 billion USD worth of value on the open network. With all the money hungry hackers in the world out there, none of them have been able to break the bitcoin network and steal that money. I’d say pretty secure…

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this
There is no chance of such thing.Your friend has misunderstood the concept of bitcoin functioning. If it is possible to hack, then no one would be having bitcoins in their wallet and all the wallets would be empty.

I admit there are types of people like that in this world, but they are not rob everything, they have compassion and chose to become robin hood with more thrilled rob the whales, no one doesn't have loopholes like blockchain or most systems of gambling, they always find bugs that can be hacked. We don't need to explain further because we are users with a number of bitcoin that not match their expectations.
