Hey! You know, I don't think that presentation has been uploaded yet. There is video, but the audio was not recorded from the microphone. That was during the first Anarchapulco.

So I can try and I would actually love to have it. But not sure it is still around and I don't think it ever made it online.

What you are thinking about is my DASH presentation on Anarchapulco 2016 which was the second one,

That one is on my youtube channel here. Smiley

this issue has to do with spending coinbase outputs and requiring exact amounts to be used  in this special case.

with komodo we mine to transparent addresses so this issue is avoided

as usual, every little issue with zcash is turned into the end of the world. Since vast majority of people will never mine zcash block and the pools will be getting the vast majority of blocks, it seems just a minor inconvenience for zcash.

KMD is not affected by spending of protected mining outputs (coinbase) since KMD coinbase are not in protected mode

I think 2388 btc is not bad. It is actually very high and is leading compared to all other current ICOs out there. It's just that developers are engraving a super high market cap.

It is the market that determines the market cap. It seems you are confusing having a finite cap as somehow translating to market cap, as opposed to not having a cap on funds raised. Using that logic, if there is no cap to funds raised, does it mean an infinite market cap?

The max amount is instead of having no limit via uncapped, that's all. The actual amount will be less than the max amount, that is because the max amount is a maximum that is there instead of having no limit.

The KMD will not be distributed based on the max amount so it should be clear that the max amount has no effect on anything, other than limiting the total amount that could be raised.

What this means is that if the ICO were to be ending now, the KMD will be distributed based on 2385 BTC (with various bonuses applied) and certainly not based on 30k BTC raised. This is because 30K BTC was not raised, that is the max limit.

My bad, i'm a bit sleepy. It's supposed to be investment cap. I actually don't know what is best and I also don't mind much for as long as project is heading its right direction. Keep up the good work. Wink

The argument about the max funding cap is clearly organised by trolls for whatever reason. Logic does not apply.

KOMODO looks great and I'm in. I do have a related question, how are things looking for Supernet adoption and further development as it relates to KOMODO?

EDIT: Disregard the SuperNet question. Found: https://steemit.com/komodo/@komodoplatform/a-guide-to-better-understand-komodo that explains it.

Thank you for your question. Komodo and SuperNET are making great inroads in both adoption and development.  One of the future features that will be part of the SuperNET ecosystem are Geckochains.  These are block chains that act as a singular Dapp acting as its own blockchain independent of the parent network.  This will allow developers to bring forth their own ideas to complement the existing ecosystem created by jl777 and the SuperNET team.

Progress is being made in the area of adoption as well.  Stratis has shown interest in possibly using Komodo's dPoW  to secure its network.    In addition,  there is an effort made by several Komodo testers called Indenodes  which aims at spread Komodo/SuperNET adoption in the French-Speaking world.

Here is a link to Indenodes:  https://steemit.com/introducemyself/@indenodes/indenodes-a-new-business-for-the-supernet-ecosystem

Other initiatives are being developed as well to further adoption and to provide auxiliary features for the Komodo ecosystem.

Also how can you launch a coin when you need this:

Quote
We are looking to hire a bigger team with the ICO funds. The size of the team depends on how much funding we raise.

If you are interested send a message to contact@komodoplatform.com. The job would begin at the end of the ICO.

The skills we are looking for:
- project managers
- GUI devs
- testers for command line API
- windows build specialists
- C devs

They should already have those persons in place... this smell like another RISE coins, they also profit out of cloning LISK and the price dropped like shit.

Komodo is currently being developed primarily by volunteers that are filling in the roles necessary to make this project a success.   We hope to hire individuals full time so that we can proceed full steam ahead with our roadmap.

Announcement

Two-factor authentication is now possible on our ICO site.

This feature is a bit late, sorry for the delay!

Another Announcement

We have finished our second whitepaper! It will be published on Saturday.

It's titled: "EasyDEX – A Practical Native DEX"

Soon anyone can use the Iguana wallet & EasyDEX GUI to store and trade other cryptocurrencies decentrally. That is our vision and that is what we have been developing.

The swap will begin after the ICO. There's more info about the BTCD in our steemit posts.
