Is something wrong with the Iguana wallet 0.1.4?
When I input my wallet seed to log in I get the message "Opps ... something went wrong!".
Same message appears when I create new wallet and confirm the seed.
Days ago I successfully logged in.
The wallet is unstable. I hope the new version will fix this problem.

It should  Smiley

Thank you very much!
This was the cause. My OS still ran an old process of Iguana in the background, tough the app was closed.
After I terminated the process and restarted Iguana, everything worked fine again.

There should never have been an ico for this project, it should have been BTCD swap and POW.
The situation has simply created a scammed class of BTC investors that get to hold the bags while BTCD swappers scramble for the exit lol

I suggest you stop using the "scam" word. Someone might take offense to it...

Well what is Bitcoin at when it is at 6K?

The price hasn't really changed from what I see first time I looked a few weeks ago KMD was 10 cents, and 9 cents was the high today. If you need to check this info just look below the price at Bittrex it will help you understand the value of a coin vs Bitcoin. https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-KMD look for the dollar symbol.

If you bought in when Bitcoin was at $700 and you do some math now you might notice the dollar amount is the same. Had you held your Bitcoin and sold at $1300 that is what you missed, but it should be about the same value now. No one would sell for a loss and anyone who is selling is getting Liquidity on the chance that Bitcoin goes up. It is called a market. You can be hedged in KMD hoping it takes off and make money from the move. Then it augments your Bitcoin profit or value.

I have some question about the Windows wallet.
Are we going to get our REVS supported in the next Windows wallet release?

I really like the new Windows wallet, so i hope in the next update, our REVS will get supported by the wallet too...any plan to add our REVS in Windows wallet?

Yes, it is there!

Can someone shine a light on the revshare asset.

What I understand so far: There should be a client for that asset chain and you somehow import your btcd private key int here and done !?
So I do not need to have to deal with the Komondo ICO page to get rev shares corretc?

Second what are they good for?
Do they generate interest in kmd or something or is this just another coin/asset with 0 interest and 0 value because no one uses it?

I try to figure out if it even makes sense to claim those shares. When there is no value attached to them I don't see what they are good for and why I should even bother to get them!?

REVS asset gets some revenue out of the SuperNET services, so it will pay dividends. There's is no roadmap or tech behind it... it just plays dividends. Very simple Smiley

For now, we haven't paid any dividends as the platform is just coming online and thus there hasn't been any siginificant profit.

The REVS asset has been distributed already, you have it if you had BTCD in your local wallet OR swapped to KMD before the BTCD snapshot date.
-> if you held BTCD in your local wallet you need your BTCD privatekey
-> if you swapped KMD before the snapshot you will need your seed

Use the REVS explorer (revs.supernet.org) to check if you have received REVS. The address is the same as your KMD address (if you swapped) or then it is your BTCD address (if you held it in your local wallet).

BTCD 1:1 REVS

Next Iguana release supports REVS, so it can be accessed and sent our from the GUI itself. In ~few months you can trade it with our decentralized exchange EasyDEX.

I keep seeing this argument popping up again and again. It sounds good, yeah.
4 Months ago I have invested my funds in KMD,  ETH and Dash. $700 to $1300? hm, OK. Majority of people here considers BTC is the only currency out there.
I did not sell my KMD for only one reason, high entry point. Most of the other ones are sold already.

It's not the question of how BTC goes, it's how the team sells the product. What I see here is just wait and wait and wait for the final version when everything works. Is it a good approach? I do not know.
What I know is others keep selling expectations remarkably good, while here, we are waiting for the final release of something new and revolutionary. Week by week. And when its out, so what? We knew it was coming... With no marketing as it is (please don't quote those 6 months old posts) KMD is up to absorb all non-believers and margin traders taking a lose. (Thanks JL for taking that bot out btw, otherwise, community would have to deal with your fees too).

I have no doubt this tech would succeed, but if you look at what WAVES and LISK did, I feel a bit ashamed for telling my friends it could be a good investment.
I do not know about others, but I see no marketing at all. You guys can say what you want (no funds as always) but when I see stupid "bitcoincasino.us" ad 20 times a day I want to check it out.
Not a frigging gambler, but I do...

I am pretty sure your team can hire some sexy white blond with perfect English from any of the post-Soviet countries for 3BTC a month to read prewritten articles on a specialized youtube channel every week. Just my 2 cents in a bucket. Worked well before. Wink

She used to be reporting news about Bitcoin and the whole crypto world on Youtube, but now Dash hired her for full time doing promotion for them  Grin

I sent my funds out of my ico account into the wallet address provided within my ico account. status says sent but i dont know where they are.  Undecided

Unless you are one of the KMD developers, you can't send anything out of the ICO account.  If you requested a payout and it says sent, then check the blockchain and see if they were sent to the address or not.

Yes it has been sent so how do i access my coins now?

If you have your "Seed", you can access your Komodo coin with Iguana wallet.
You can download Iguana wallet here>>> https://github.com/SuperNETorg/iguana/releases

Just put your Seed there, and you have your coins inside wallet..

i did that and within the iguanan wallet, its gving me a different address. it also wont sync all the way. it stops at around 96% and then kicks me out of the wallet. i go to log back in full version and it just keeps kicking me out.

I recommend you to use "Basilisk Mode", because the current Iguana wallet still have a lots of bugs.
Also the new Iguana update release is also near, so i recommend to use full version when the new wallet update is released..

By the way, try to check you address here on this explorer >>>  http://kmd.explorer.supernet.org
To check if your coin is in your address or not.

Attention Komodo Whales!

We have just launched a new Komodo feature called 'Jumblr', it is a decentralized anonymizer for KMD and BTC.

It is being tested right now and we need your help! Why should you do this?

 - you will help the development team; this is another usecase for KMD
 - you will conceal your funds; gain privacy
 - as a community we all need to JUMBLR as much as possible to enhance its privacy effect

A million KMD deposit would keep the JUMBLR service busy for over a week, and the more participation we get the more privacy the service provides. Once there is a critical mass, then it becomes the most private way to mix funds, and since it is not subject to any of the normal risks it should become self-sustaining.

The use of Jumblr costs about 0.3 %

Message from jl777:
Quote from: jl777
need some people who are able to test JUMBLR. at least 2 people to start JUMBLR of their funds at approx the same time. Then to make sure it completes and then to verify that using block explorer it isnt possible to know who controls the destination KMDjumblr addresses. JUMBLR is unique in that all the "mixing" happens without any other parties directly involved. you are always in control of your funds, there are no multisig, multiparty tx. yet we end up with fully anonymized funds in the KMDjumblr address. My next step is to add the DEX of BTC <-> KMD on top so we get a BTC jumblr, but if we can get people to test the JUMBLR core (working with KMD only) in parallel it will speed things up.

What to do?

1. Join our Slack
2. Join channel #jumblr
3. Tell us that you are willing to test Jumblr.

We need to find as many people as we can. We will provide any support you might need, you can also read more about the technology, like its whitepaper draft.

"We've pegged the odds at less than 25%. That's because the very first thing the SEC lists in its own mission statement is protecting the investing public."
http://www.etf.com/sections/features-and-news/bitcoin-etfs-dummies

Crowd sourced prediction now at 43% for approval. A crowd sourced prediction could be the most accurate available prediction.

Don't invest at bitmex because you could loose the whole amount. Better investments are BTC and altcoins since they move continously in price and not in a discountinously success or failure mode.
