Not sure if you're asking just the rep or other players, but I have always played via the downloadable client. Never had any problems other than the down times for maintenance and the past ddos attacks which don't seem to happen any more after recent updates (knock wood).

Does anyone know which is better/safer/more stable/more secure - the downloadable client or playing through the website? Or if it even matters? Is there an advantage to one over the other? Just curious as I'm not an IT guy.

The far majority of players play through the downloadable client at a rate of about 70% to 30%.  We are working on an html5 version (no eta as of yet) and some other features to help improve your experience.  Thank you.

I personally like the web version, because of the different backgrounds, and the bigger font 4-color deck... any chance of adding them to the web client?
