When we split from poker originally, we lost access to a lot of poker data. After getting back together with the poker team and going through it, we realized we did not have enough data to make the payments 100% accurate.
It will be paid in full. We are doing partial payments to give additional people a chance at winning parts of it, but we expect it to be gone within 8 weeks or so because we are lowering the hand requirement significantly. We have worked closely with Twitchy on this and although, we are incapable of satisfying all his requests, we are doing it as best as we can so it is fair to the players.
We are trying to do the right thing here. Not everyone will be happy but the money will be paid out in full to the players and soon.

This is a fair statement.

I believe that the management team that I have been dealing with have indeed done their best to do the right thing - the problem is with the man/men behind the curtain that they are reporting to. (and also Jessica)

Also, the guys I have been working with are leaving.

Can you name one person who you've been dealing with that wasn't there before last month?

Also can Betcoin sign a wallet (or wallets) with the player's funds?  Including the BBJ?

Also also, why did it take three weeks to realize that you didn't have the data?  What happened to "we brought on more people to deal with the data"?  Where are those people?  What data were they dealing with if you didn't have the data?

Once again

You said you had to bring more people on to sift through the data, and then you said you didn't have the data.  Can anyone give me a scenario where one of those statements isn't a complete lie?

The scenario is they sifted through the data they had. Then they determined they didn't have enough to make the accurate payouts. So instead we are paying it out this way. The way that the people who contributed were expecting to to get paid at the time of the contributions.

Please post the data that it took you 3+ weeks and so many people that you had to hire new employees to sift through.  We want to see the results (even if they are partial) of your hard work.

Also what's the ETA on you signing those wallets?

Everything about this whole situation sounds shady.  From the new ownership, to the delayed payouts..

I had a feeling this was going to happen eventually, when the sportsbook was down for like 3 months without any given explanation.  Well, now we all know the reason why.

If Betcoin was a profitable endeavor, why would the original owners choose to sell the company in the first place?

Betcoin has returned to deleting posts and locking threads that criticize them.

When they inevitably delete this post, I will continue to post in the official un-moderated thread and update people on all the inevitable bullshit.

They stole a bunch of money from WTN and instead of doing the right thing they doubled down and stole the BBJ funds.  WTN closed their poker availability.  When BTC crashed (after they sold their stolen funds), they just rebought at a lower price and used some of the profits to pay back WTN.

Just a theory based on the timeline.  You see their tune changed DRASTICALLY right after the crash.  I'd bet we're also going to see none of the "new management" in the near future.

The tournament buyin glitch happened over a 2 hour period in the morning when the highest tournament fee was $22. People registered for larger tournaments but we caught those before they started. Most of the tournaments people registered for were $0.55-$5.50. Do you really think we had trouble covering those buyins?  We ended poker because the new ownership decided the hassle of running a poker room wasn't worth the profit. We look forward to having the bbj paid out in full in the very near future and the WPN has been more than happy to welcome us back during this period.

Remember?  Betcoin either sold their email list or had it stolen from their "secure" database about a year back.  People have been using that list to send phishing emails ever since.  Betcoin doesn't care.  They got their money.

So sad and obvious Jessica is still representing Betcoin.

Jessica,

Nothing you are saying is making anything better for Betcoin, Poker or Cryptocurrency in general.

You're an embarrassment.  Please stop.

Some quick examples of appropriate responses to cjmoles (who happens to be one of your all time HOF shills) post:

- We will investigate and update everyone (then actually update everyone)
- We will do everything we can to make sure other players are aware of this scam attempt. (then actually do everything you can to make other players aware)
- apologize

This is at least the 5th time I've heard of player email addresses being used in scam attempts, 3 of which I have proof were only ever given to Betcoin (all very well documented in the 'non-moderated' threads - if you need me to point you in the right direction.

Not one single time has any of the above 'suggestions' been taken.

Pathetic really.

That is a fair assessment. It is a bit off-putting when someone asks you a question, you reply, then they edit their quesion. But either way, we are always looking to improve our customer service and should conduct ourselves professionally at all times.
Of course we take any breach seriously. If anyone has recveived a similar email, please forward it to support@betcoin.ag and of course CJ, we request that you do the same to aid our investigation.

https://www.betcoin.ag/security-advisory-email-scam-attempt-alert

We have received word of an email that has gone out to some players about a potential bonus opportunity. This email may show up as being from bonus@betcoin.ag or betcoinsupport1@betcoin.ag and suggests a potential Betcoin bonus if you send funds to specific crypto addresses. This email is a scam attempt and should be ignored.
Betcoin will never request funds or provide you a deposit address by email. The deposit addresses which are specific to your player account can only be found in your dashboard screen.
We do send our own bonus offers by email at times. Ways you can detect the false ones from our real bonus emails include:
1. The grammar on the scam attempts is usually poor
2. Our emails will come from support@betcoin.ag or contact@betcoin.ag
3. We will never give a special deposit address
If you ever have a concern about an email you have received, we ask that you contact us by email, support ticket or live chat so that we may investigate. We take your security very seriously.
Due to the age of the accounts that have reported this so far, we believe this email is related to a breach that occured several years ago where our email list was infiltrated. No player funds were hacked at that time and we have since increased security measures heavily. Therefore at this time, we have no reason to believe that any account created since then has an email address is at risk. Either way, player funds are always safe. We ask that anyone else who has received this email forward it to support@betcoin.ag so that we may do as thorough an investigation as possible.
Thank you for your assistance in this continuing investigation,
Betcoin Security
