With this kind of ICO people a lured into it, escrow is now over charging because they know what ever happens even if the ICO fails they will earn from it.

Exactly, I see the most recent ICOs which are escrow ones, the escrow terms are clear, they said refund costs money, and they also charges money for refund, because refund is a painful process.

This coin didn't succeed to get their minimum target amount through crowdfunding and stopped the project. I don't think there will be any active channel as there is nothing to talk about. If I remember well investors were refunded by the escrow back in december with lot of problems.

Anyone have any luck retrieving a refund after the refund closed? I invested ETH, can't find any email or communications about the ETH refund contract other than an old email saying it was coming, and then found this thread months later.
I have contacted the Johann (in charge of escrow?) twice in the past 2 weeks and haven't received a response at all.
Does anyone have any experience receiving a refund after the contract has changed? Did anyone receive communications before the ETH contract about it's availability, usage, and date expectations?
Thanks!

So what happened in the end? Did the escrow just gave the funds to the scammer instead of refunding users that got their money stole? If the escrow was one of the trusted escrow from BCT I think you guys should open a scam accusation againsts him too.

For BTC refund please contact me, I am one of the 2 BTC escrows. You only can contact the ETH escrows about ETH refunds.
Besides that, you really should care more about your funds. Just checking about an investment that late is reckless when there is no good reason for that.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Yeah this shows how people just send money to random persons without even checking how things are going on. That's why scammers keeep coming here and give fake shitcoins in exchange for real money. Users are lucky that there are escrows like SebastianJu which is still here after months running behind them to refund their bitcoins.
