the latest version of the wallet supports Lelantus. you can now use the options since Lelantus has been activated today on the mainnet.

It's true value and utility is yet to be realized by the masses but as regulations creep in and people lose control of their privacy technologies like Firo will come into their own especially with growing DEX support. Horizen only recently broke out from the $6 range and if one takes a look at Monero which literally went from zero to hero overnight it's not something anyone can predict but clearly there is utility for these currencies and it isn't only the dark web who value privacy. An innovative and driven project like Firo which continues to mature will have it's shine in the near future.

You could not say better, I was thinking the same thing, privacy is the very basis of crypto ... many people have forgotten it and others do not know it yet but, with the coming regulations, privacy coins will be useful more than ever. The dex exchanges are the exchanges of tomorrow which will replace the current exchanges When the government, which in addition to its regulations will apply too high a tax on all levels of transaction. Privacy coins traded on dex will be the only option To keep the current freedom. And we can no longer rely on zcash or horizen for complete privacy ....
watch this article https://www.coindesk.com/elliptic-follows-chainalysis-in-adding-zcash-to-monitoring-platform
And just look at the article titles on the first google page for elliptic ... its nothing glorious for Zcash and Horizen to see their names in the elliptic surveillance list, now we need private coins like FIRO which constantly evolves their FORENSIC PROOF privacy protocol https://www.google.com/search?q=elliptic+chain+surveillance
A promising future for FIRO !!

I tried some DEX platforms, and many have only undisposable deposit addresses, like atomicDEX. Is this DEX made for supporting regulators?

Dex P2P exchange is basically made to allow the exchange without any entity between people, but the point is that companies like Elliptic which have big budgets and forensic tools and are now able to follow the non-private transactions. Lelantus solves this problem because if you deposit the funds on a public address from an anonymized Firo coin. The surveillance firms will be only able to see that funds have appeared on this address but will not be able to know where it comes from. after that when you have exchanged and want to withdraw anonymously, You can transfer the funds back to your FIRO wallet to anonymize them again. the the only thing the surveillance firms have seen are the exchanges that were made on the DEX but they will not know the origin or where they are returned afterwards. To simplify, lelantus works in the following way. When you anonymize coins with lelantus it is as if you burn the coins and you receive a coupon of equivalent value to the coin you had, then you can then go anywhere and claim those coins with the coupon. it is impossible to know where it comes from since this coupon is only a proof that the Coins have been burned and that it can be claimed

Looks like FIRO is soon going to attain new ATH How you figure? A couple of years ago when it had another name it was over $40 each.

Beware of this update "Suspicious activity has been detected at XZC (FIRO) blockchain. 51% attack is possible. Payouts are stopped until the network stabilizes. The amount of block confirmations has been increased to 1000 new blocks."

Not sure where he got the coins in the first place. Did he buy the coins, then convert 900K to other coins etc. ETH and withdraw that? So that he could execute his double spend attack and get the spent coins back in his wallet as if he had never spent them? Well thats brilliant. If u lock their address via fork, then that is a massive reduction in the supply. Price will skyrocket.

There's a FIRO guide on mining in the OP and here's the link for that: https://firo.org/guide/how-to-mine-firo.html. Never knew FIRO was Zcoin until I saw it changes in Binance and CMC. That was a brilliant move indeed, can't wait to see for more updates regarding this. I'm sure that attacker was totally in shocked and unluckily he didn't have that huge chance to anonymize the coins. Clap* Well done.

send a transaction from core wallet, it defaulted to private balance. Now it says transaction is offline (watch only?), cant re-broadcast (lelantus disabled atm) and cant find transaction id on the chain. coins are gone. Any suggestions?
just wait for lelantus to be re-enabled? abandon transaction?
