I understand the price drop compared to fiat. I do not understand the drops compared to BTC or ETH even. And these price drops can be seen after the implementation of v2, after November 5th. Could the word "fork" be blamed? Maybe after non-ARK people realized that fork does not mean some random free coins, they sold ARKs cause they just don't know/care about the v2?

Who cares about them, the important thing for the knowledgeable is that we will get free coins from projects that will use ARK.
Let's just hope that development teams won't be held back because of the bear market and create awesome things in the ARK ecosystem!

Why we will get free coins from projects that will use Ark? Isn't true, if they want to do it ok but don't expect free coins just because someone is building a chain based on Ark

The new ARK Core v2 has been running stable on the ARK Public Network for some time now, but development isn't slowing down anytime soon. We want to continue to improve, implement new features and adapt to industry standards with input from the community and wider audiences.

So far we had an airdrop from PHANTOM project which however is yet to enter any exchange, so it's not worth anything yet.
It was also a very common practice with Ethereum based tokens during the time when there were 10 new coins every day.

I'm not saying EVERY project built on ARK will airdrop coins to ARK holders, but at least some will do.

Phnatom didn't airdrop anything yet, they just went silent so I'm not so sure that we'll see it any day. Founders had problems with the SEC after all (do you know Centra? They are the same guys)

This could be big if the Phantom.org creator or creators not having problem with the SEC.
I think Phantom is dead, no one should expecting anything coming out of them unless this taking over by the community and not from them. On their bond release they shouldn't even use the computer or internet.
Their ideas are good and I like their roadmap, https://phantom.org/roadmap

They haven't launched their mainnet yet so it's currently impossible to receive anything. They build on Ark v2 tech which was recently released and I'm sure they have to adapt some things, this may take some time.
I don't expect anything, but I would say "thank you" for these free coins.

ARK Pay is a simple open-source library that provides merchants with the ability to easily accept ARK as a means of payment in online stores.

The goal of ARK has always been to build a blockchain platform that gives developers a powerful toolkit to create a fully functioning blockchain ecosystem with ARK at its core. ARK Pay is a key component of that toolkit and provides developers with a plug-and-play module to allow easy implementation of ARK as a payment method.

There is a calm before storm kind situation with so much work if someone thinks it will not move then he needs to think again. It will just shock everyone with its sharp rise anytime. I was expecting ARK to see some appreciation for all the great work was done and delivered but looks like accumulation is not completed yet. Stay with eyes on this it is getting ready.

Phantom is nice, I was waiting for it but mostly because of their airdrop.
What I'm more eagerly looking forward to is Blockport which at the moment is not running ARK but they are planing to migrate with v2.

It will be interesting to see Phantom's development, if they will menage to create a privacy plugin, every bridgechain will be able to implement it .
About blockport, are you sure about that?

About blockport, are you sure about that?

It was announced long ago, to be exact 1 year ago: https://blog.ark.io/new-partnership-formed-ark-blockport-acbcc15fb614
Last time I spoke with the blockport team back in July they confirmed it's planned for future: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2549733.msg42915615#msg42915615

I wish we had a more recent update though!
