feel it is indeed bad, the prices of goods and services per day are always going up, finding a job is difficult, increasing unemployment, criminal offence are also high, many people in my country so desperate by economic problems.

Probably that's worst. If that's the economy in your country, probably it will take time before it could recover unless your leader has ways to fast track those solutions his/her subordinates has to solve this. I am sure each country has a contingency plan each time such as like this happen. Care to share what country you are from?  Smiley

This thread seems kind pointless as vast majority of posters didn't disclose where they are from and instead are referring to "my country" as some kind of exemplary object.
Without detailed references it is hard to form any kind of deeper discussion.

They don't want to disclose the country whey are living. And that's why they are using "in my country" or "I'm living in third world country" maybe they are that shameful about their country if we are going to say on how bad is the economy situation in theirr countries. And in summary most of the countries does have the same problem which is the primary is corruption. That is not new.

They are not ashamed about their country, some of them just want to post something... We should be proud of our nationality wherever we are, even if it is corrupt... Snorek is right, if you won't say where country you are, your post looks like an imagination, or probably lying - and don't want your other countrymen to criticized your post about your country...  Smiley

I would say people are just posting their situation and not really wanting to reveal where they truly are. For me I am in the Philippines, well you tell by my post as I post a lot in the local board of the Philippines. Also, maybe this is because of the fact that people value anonymity very much as this is why we are using bitcoins in the first place.

Just look at the post few post away being quoted, we could create such post if we want without any data or without anything and just by imagining what to post according to what we read in others... Anyway, before we post the situation in our country in this thread, the world already know it, so no need to hide our nationality...  Smiley

If our economy situation in our country will be bad, also our bitcoin value will goes down also. We should know what will be the cause and effect why our economy situation in our country is bad. Economy be on their own, but we citizens can help our economy, we will be the one who will be post to be strong.

That's not true. Bitcoin's price is not dependent on your economy or anyone's economy, it's price rise and down has nothing to do with your economy. Actually you should be happy when the value of your currency go down a bit, that means the value of your bitcoin is higher.

If the economy situation in your country is bad the things which are produced in your country might cost less because of that. But Bitcoin is not produced in your country so the price of it will only rise compared to your local currency.

The economic situation in my country has been so bad that we rationed power for 4 years, We had 12 hours of light and 24 hours without light. It crippled a lot of business and plunge the country in a downward spiral. Many people couldn't recover and are in debt and jobless.

I live in Europe where economic situation is different in different countries. Germany and Scandinavia are doing good but other countries, especially in south, are in deep economic depression. I suspect that in 10-15 years EUR will disappear as well as European Union.

They are not ashamed about their country, some of them just want to post something... We should be proud of our nationality wherever we are, even if it is corrupt... Snorek is right, if you won't say where country you are, your post looks like an imagination, or probably lying - and don't want your other countrymen to criticized your post about your country...  Smiley

I agree with that, we can tell people from what country we are but they will never know who really we are. That's the anonymity of bitcoin that I want, even if you will say that you are living in this country but you could always tell a lie as you are not obliged to divulge you real information.
The thing, we have different situation in our country but we are united here in the crypto world and I believe we are all smart here so we should work not for ourselves but for the whole crypto world.

Those are good points. Indeed even if we do use bitcoin and we know where we all reside and which country we are in. I didn't see that side when I placed my comment. Anyway, maybe we should get a new thread about this and discuss this further. I hope we could all work better in this forum to improve everybody's lives and remove the negativity sometimes.

In few things I am also like you we have some bad history but now doing some good which need some more time to settle things hope we all will manage this but here Bitcoin is not in good position because just very few peoples know about this government have some problems with this and they are not giving any space to free this

So where country you are from? let me guess, Philippines, election was just months ago, so I think you are also from here. I could say that our economy isn't that bad even before this administration. leaders isn't that horrible either. Jobs are everywhere, only that, some people apply for the wrong job, and sometimes the most common courses in college doesn't meet the requirement of the job after they graduate. Plenty of jobs are here, but few people could handle it since it is not the common jobs or the jobs we want.  Smiley

The biggest problem for the economic development of third countries, there are three kinds:
1. Welfare is not decentralized.
2. The government is corrupt.
3. Human resources and natural resources is high, but stumbles regulation and administration (greed in local government tax).

It took decades to complete. But the possibility can be helped by understanding bitcoin for everyone (new hope).

The minerals from third world countries are mostly getting mined by a foreign company. Countries that don't have the machinery to mine their own minerals continue to be broke after years of mining because the miners just export the minerals unprocessed so the tax would be much lower and then process it when it get to their land. You can say that your place is "rich yet so poor". It's not a rare thing because most third world countries have corrupt government so even though mining minerals should give the people decent amount of money, it doesn't.

Not now... Actually the mining act of 1995 is being under review now in the Philippines and said to be unfair by the new DENR secretary... Permits are not given to those who are not responsible miners.. Those corrupt officials too, who give permit to those irresponsible miners is being summoned, and not to mention that those who take part on the fund left by some miners for the rehabilitation of the place where they mine are now under question...   Smiley

You know in my country, economy situation is normalistically but our government is not good, sorry to say that but they all are corrupt leaders. But my country people, they are good and hard working people, that's why we have no interest in government and our private schools, offices and factories they all are doing well, So economy point of view, my country has good position.
