A solo miner with such a high hashrate should find more blocks than gorillapool. But like I said, gorillapool strangely finds the majority of the blocks (17 of the last 20).

Attention! Two miners that mining in my pool  http://xci.ms-pool.net.ua yesterday transaction 07.12.2016, 13:53:58 aa6eee882d1d6f860e46ba84db09761121b5cc2d59674932da31a28197786a44
It was too big and was rejected by the network.
Coins returned to the pool of the purse balance.
I'll send them to you manually.
In pm write your address and the amount.

Also seems cryptonote is not completely anon.
How many coins I got?

PS: if you think zcash is better, i think Cryptonote is way better because, for NSA to break zcash, they need to get just 1 key with quantum computer. In contrast, NSA need to get 1 key per address for Cryptonote.
You can correct me if I got the zcash number wrong since I am not so familiar. I am pretty sure about the numbers for Cryptonote

@slb is right. Time-tested CryptoNote vs New creepy zcash. My answer is CryptoNote.

@xicoin, so which of these are part of this project already:

1 ring sigs
2 stealth addresses
3 ring CT

It seems like XMR would be a better fork than cryptonote, from a security perspective since both use cryptonight. Isn't it true that BCN has more updated security code too?

gorilla pool smokes high more than 130kh right now

Yes and network 33.18 KH/sec, why network Hash don't show all KH/s on the network? Don't understand
the network hashrate is calculated based on the last 720 blocks of the network.

This is why you see 353.35 KH/sec on network and few kh/s on pools actually.

1. +
2. + (with walletd)
3. -

We are thinking on migrating to BCN source code because of
1. cryptonote compatibility
2. walletd and api
3. database
4. better network
XMR is not compatible with cryptonote and GUI. We will watch XMR development and probably some day if we will need it we will look closer to ring CT but only after battle testing Grin

Exactly. If we will change 720 block to lower value now we may have problems in future. The problem is with the BIG miner who is pumping hashrate and leaving the network. 40-60 min block time is a common situation in Bitcoin so there is nothing urgent. The XCI Network will adjust itself, it may take some extra time. Please, don't worry network is still small, block reward is still high, every miner or trader here is still an early adopter and everything is awesome. Grin

Uh someone must be putting a big hash into farming all that weed.  Shocked I sense u guys are one post away from calling this another 51% attempt. How many 51%'s have there been up until now? Let chew the cud who could an evil miner whale be? I can recall I seen a hipster guy in my neighborhood with a pyramid stack of ASICs on his way to a new pickup truck. Chances are thats ur cannabis attacker.

XCI Coin is ASIC resistant. This BIG miner is a small cpu botnet or huge GPU mining rigs set. 300 khs is equal to about 500-600 GPUs.

Maybe, but he doesn't seem to mine anything. The blocks go to gorillapool and cryptonotepool Huh
The only bothering thing is the very high diff. which is slowing everything down.

I was mining at a 3-4 KH/S on gorillapool.  I did not get any coin for 24 hours (I stopped yesterday) . How can you tell that the coins are going to gorillapool ?

simple you check the found block page of the pool you can see how much block the pool found

and you can see currently  gorilla found most of the blocks, so it s mean most of the hashpower is there

and so you can determinate that the high difficulty (what is not droping) is wind

As I said previously, ATM it can take up to about 24h before your mined coin shows up in the balance.
I am mining at about 1.5 kh/s and waiting too. Just klick on the tab "Pool Blocks" and you will see how long confirmations take ATM.

No big miners, network hashrate is based on the last 720 blocks
You can see, last Block Found: about 7 hours ago!

No enough hashrate on network actually for that big diff to find blocks quickly

Only arround 50 blocks found in this last 2 days
