Had you received a response from the New Zealand Consulate you would have shared it's contents with us here in the Forum.
I'm not going to be dragged into your trolling.   There was nothing he said that was of any real interest.  You can get your own responses.  I don't appreciate your hostile attitude.  I think I've brought a lot of civility to this forum which has had a lot of really vile posts over the years.  That's not to say I haven't made friends and been a part of a lot of great teams.  It's just I'm not going to sink to the level of responding to your questioning.

With just thirteen merits... I don't think so.  More likely is that you never received any response, or, they told you to contact G&T.  Would I be right?

Keep the faith - bump this thread.

I kinda agree with Dr Who here, share what you received, even if its just a write up of how pretty NZ is. I don't believe you received anything from this banana republic.

There is an Update from the Liquidators that was coming out just a few Minutes !
Looks like this Cryptopia Rescue is not an offical thing !

From the Liquidators:

Cryptopia Rescue is encouraging members to contribute to their scheme by paying a monetary contribution as a means of forcing us to work with them to supposedly fast track repayment of funds to certain users ahead of others, which is not in line with New Zealand Law.

We must warn that anyone outside of the official communication channels claiming to have access to the confidential information or offering to tell account holders what balances are in their accounts is doing so without the Liquidators' authority.  This includes Cryptopia Rescue. Please be wary of any such approaches and note that any communications relating to the Liquidation will come from the official channels such as the Grant Thornton website, or the Grant Thornton and Cryptopia Facebook and Twitter accounts.

@Lafu : looks even like a scam to me, this Cryptopia Rescue. And wanting to prioritize some users over others is totally wrong.

Yeb it is and why should you pay them 6$ for the service that they offer even its not allowed from the NZ Law that they doing this what they write on there webpage !
And also this guy that runs the Cryptopia Rescue Website " victor cattermole " is a knowen scammer .

Would be quick money for him if 1 Million Users pay him 6 $ for a service that he not realy cant do because there is no contract between him and the Liquidators.

They're making the verification process next to impossible. They notify you using the email you signed up with and you need to remember your username. You also need to know your last transaction and when you signed up.

Who remembers all that. Then you have to pass a very strict KYC. They want your full name with ID and bank information as well as a detailed transaction history. How would anyone know all of this information

They're doing it on purpose so nobody claims they're coins and they can steal them and sell them off for profits. They'll tell the judge that the users never claimed their coins when they know we couldn't because they made it nearly impossible to claim them.

To make it worse I'll bet they have not contacted any of the developers to make sure the wallets are updated. You cannot withdraw coins from a wallet using out of date software. These clowns at Grant Thornton are pure thieves and criminals and the New Zealand court will allow it to happen.

The portal is hosted on Cryptopia's domain so it's unlikely to be a phishing link: https://portal.cryptopia.co.nz/. I personally wouldn't enter any information on that website until they've posted a statement about the portal on their Twitter account or on the Grant Thornton website.

I am also not sending any information because its not safe until they officially announce any thing related to this and few are talking they are asking some more information which are not available so in this case what to do because now its very long time and keeping all things in mind is not possible for a human.

The mail was tagged as SPAM by my spamassassin.

Sending such a mail via sendgrid with redirected links seems not overly professional to me.
Will certainly give this a 2nd and 3rd thought and more consideration before I click any links there.

Which captcha from all? The one for the sign-up? If this is the one that you are referring to, you need to put a password of min 14 characters.
I didn't get any spamming notification and I want to make a step further to see what is this. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics from the process but as a signup process isn't something "hard" or strange. The only thing is that you have to agree to a T&C page, stating that your credentials will be used for verifying you with your Cryptopia account and for any other purpose that law enforcement, lawyers, or Grant Thornton see necessary.
Now the hard/ crap part. After you log in, you will need to choose 2 from the total of 7 "Account Activity Questions", in order to verify yourself with your Cryptopia ex-account (pics below). This method can be more than hard since the details after ~4 years fading, at least from my brain/ mind/ memory. So even if I try to remember some things I still can't pass this automated process of verification. If I make it through, I will post along with pic(s). If by any chance someone else signup and manage to do and pass this process, please inform here.

P.S: I can't make them smaller (for some unknown reason) but if someone can, please do it and re-post them for all to see.
