Be really careful miners on your power use, according to my meter i only used around 14k kwh but with the feul cost and fees and taxes etc , my rate of .08 is actually closers to .22 !!!

That's why you buy energy blocks for your mining operation ahead of time if you draw enough power.

I'm also not sure how 14kw being $1900 = $0.22

yeah we choose our energy supplier one or twice a year and go with whoever is lowest. this time our supplier is in texas and we are in massachusetts. the delivery cost per kw is more than the supply cost per kw.

go figure..

v5.0 is showing ~ 80 H/s for my card (R7 370) but the pool an average of 55-60 during the last 4h or so. The rejection rate is low (< one per thousand shares). Any idea what might cause the diversity displayed? I've not noticed any differences with v4.0.

I guess a 50% boost displayed by the pool is more realistic than 100% displayed within the miner (have had ~ 40 H/s with v4.0)?

I'm getting about 65H/s with my R7 370 2GB.  My settings in Afterburner are 1125 / 1500 with -15% for power limit.  Lowering the clocks below 1100 seems to impact performance pretty significantly.  Lowering the power limit more made things a bit unstable.  It's been running for days with these settings no problem.  Every new release, I just stop, reboot (seems to like a reboot for some reason), run the new version, and performance increases.

Are yours 4GB?  What settings are you using to get 80?

I did no really tweak much, 1040/1425, power limit not changed. 2GB card with 15.12 driver on Win 10 64-bit.

Your 65 H/s seems to match my displayed 55-60 from the pool, considering your higher clocks.

Ok but you posted your power bill which was $1985. If you paid 20¢ per kWh on 14MWh, then your bill should have been $2800.

I agree with you that number looks more realistic but on both whatamine and coinwarz have you list power in watts not KWH so thats where the discrepancy is youre right

Here's another odd one for V5.0.  I have a rig with two Sapphire 290X Tri's.  One is 4GB and the other is 8GB.
Version 4 and 5 ID the 8GB one as a 390X.  In v4 it runs about 2 H/s faster than the 290X.
In V5 - only the 8GB 290x runs.  I can't get the 4GB to run at all.  Tried all kinds of things.
Hoping v6 does away with this issue.

i am using AMD driver 16.7.3 and using windows 7 64 bit

Please adjust the timing of when your devfee starts. As it is your miner starts the devfee after X amount of mining time. But if watchdog kicks in a restarts the miner, it restarts the devfee countdown. This means that when a miner, your miner, has a problem it requeues the devfee to start well before an hour has past. To test it I "challenged" a card to ultimately fail so watchdog would restart. In 67 minutes your devfee started 4 times. The devfee needs to start at the END of an hour of mining, not a few minutes into it.

BTW, did anybody else notice that since v5 the fee has been reduced? The dev fee is only mined for 20 sec per hour here
