v6.0:

- improved speed by about 20-25% (depends on card model). About 180H/s on stock 390.
- "-i" parameter values are 0...4 now, default value is "-i 4".
- fixed issue with mixed cards.

R9 270 - 73 H/s minus 2.5% devfee. Optiminer still better, 86 H/s without devfee.

so it seems that stock bios cards work better on the RX series for ZEC mining, my stock 470s do 120h/s and my strap modded ones for eth do 109-114

my modded timings bios 4gb 470's are doing 122-130..only overclocked memory to 1950 ,core is stock 1256 and undervolted to 950mv.

all my 470s have the cores lowered to around 1080 that might be my issue

Which undervolt would you recommend on a r9 280x?
It's setted to Core Clock: 1000 / Memory: 1500 / VDDC: 1050

Awesome work Claymore, you're making grown men cry.... I.E. the ones who bought cloud mining contracts.   Cheesy

Getting 160 sol/s per RX480.

On my 290xs I'm getting about 170+ sol/s on the Hynix RAM cards, but only 145~150 on the Elpida RAM cards. Need to do some more tweaking on them, finding it hard to believe there would be such a big performance difference purely from the type of RAM IC.

You're the man Claymore! Here's what I get, -i 2 on all 3 rigs:

4x RX470 8GB : 542S/s
4x RX479 4GB : 491S/s
2x R390X 8GB : 339S/s

All this for 1250W @ Wall, so 0.89W/S!

just want to share my experience a little bit...

I did a little experiment... trial & error..
I use sapphire nitro rx 470 8gb samsung memory & rx 480 4gb hynx memory.. at first i set core clock 1300 and memclock 2200 with 1750 strap bios using polaris on my rx 470 8gb.. the result were good.. 120 to 135 h/s on both card..total 250 to 260 + h/s... but the rx 470 use much more power than the rx 480.. I had a hard time trying reducing the power consumption on my rx 470.. when use sapphire trix and lowering voltage.. yes the power decrease from about 103-105 on gpu-z to 95-98 watts... but after some time the computer freeze...then i had an idea to try to reduce the memclock and keep the core clock unchanged... I set 1300/2050 using polaris bios editor..flash it with atiwinflash.. reboot.. then run the claymore v5.0 again.. the hashrate don't change.. still around 120 - 135 h/s on both card.. but with this setting i can decrease the voltage and my computer not freeze... stable.... I think with zcash the secret is on the core clock.. more cclock.. more hash rate..

here's the screenshot: GPU 0 rx 470 8gb, GPU 1 RX 480 4GB (both are sapphire nitro)

here's the bios setting of my cards, maybe you may want to try it:

good info , i guess ill lower mem clock and raise core clock on my zcash miners , sucks though when i switch back to ETH i would have to modify all my cards again UGH !

Use "-i 4" when possible.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
