this is what I am getting on BitQuark. I am running with the "killer groestl", so I might
get 25% more hash than you would (on same hardware)

that's one GTX 780, two GTX 750Ti, one GT 640.
Code:
[2014-05-06 20:07:59] 4 miner threads started, using 'quark' algorithm.
[2014-05-06 20:08:38] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 17920 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-06 20:09:09] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 17667 khash/s (yay!!!)

Here's 3 GTX 780Ti
Code:
014-05-06 19:37:55] 3 miner threads started, using 'quark' algorithm.
[2014-05-06 19:46:56] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 26374 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-06 19:53:40] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 24807 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-06 19:55:58] accepted: 3/3 (100.00%), 26010 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-06 19:59:32] accepted: 4/4 (100.00%), 25436 khash/s (yay!!!)

For completeness sake, here's 3 ASUS ROG MARS cards (6 GTX 760 cores)
Code:
[2014-05-06 20:26:49] 6 miner threads started, using 'quark' algorithm.
[2014-05-06 20:33:42] accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 19953 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-06 20:43:13] accepted: 2/2 (100.00%), 19499 khash/s (yay!!!)

OMG what did we do Wink

BTQ diff is over 600 already, and solomining is still worth it?
I don't think so, but it would be good to know where all the nvidia crowd was before and move to that coin  Grin

I am trying http://btq.ext-pool.net - working fine so far, have received the eq. of 1.5 block in approx. 30 min. of mining

Hello all. I've been using cudaminer for my 750tis but wanted to give JPC a try so this is my first time using ccminer. I've done a good bit of reading on this forum and the commands look close enough to cudaminer that I should be able to figure it out but I can't quite get it to work properly and definitely need some help at this point.

Basically, the .bat file seems to run fine except it only gives me a new "Stratum detected new block" every minute or so. No hash information, no hash acceptance confirmation. I checked the dashboard on miningpoolhub.com and there's definitely no shares being counted.

I'm using the v0.7 release from a few days ago. Here's my .bat file (my username and such is filled in properly in the real one):

ccminer50.exe -a jackpot -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://us-east1.jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com:20484 -O username.worker:password

Any ideas?
if you get stratum detected new block, I'd say you are running cgminer not ccminer (or I missed an option)

Unfortunately it's nothing that obvious as I'm definitely using ccMiner v0.7, but I checked anyways. However, your comment did make me compare how they each start up and I can say that they basically start the same.

After starting either program they both say "Stratum detected new block" but cudaminer would immediately initialize GPU #0 and go on from there. The ccMiner program just waits about a minute and throws out the same "Stratum detected new block," doing so endlessly.

Is there some other command I need to apply to get ccMiner to initialize my GPU?
I really don't have anything like that from ccminer...
it says:
1miner threads started... etc...
Starting stratum on stratum...etc... and it start hashing (but I am using -q).

In cgminer "stratum detected new block" just means a block has been found somewhere on the network and the miner is trying to solve the new one...

edit: ok, if cudaminer doesn't start, try to restart.
Which card are you using/ which version of cc/cuda are you using ?
What is happening on gpu usage/ core clock etc... when you start the miner ?

Here's what happens within seconds of loading a cudaminer .bat file:

Here's what happens after a few minutes of loading a ccminer .bat file
https://i.imgur.com/0lO9qml.png

Cudaminer is version 2014-02-09, ccMiner is v0.7 using the ccMiner50.exe. I'll have to wait until I get home later to see what GPU-Z says about GPU usage/core clock info.

no failover. there's feature parity with pooler's cpuminer - that is about it.

ccminer has a focus on adding interesting (lucrative?) algorithms quickly. Anything else is secondary at the moment.

That coin is so tiny. Hashrate has tripled only because of a handful of nVidia miners like us. Maybe we can't sell it at all but I will give it a try. Time to report:
GTX780: 7Mhs
GTX680: 3.8Mhs
750ti: 3Mhs

Thanks again Christian. Since you dominated this coin since the beginning like Fugue. Your holding is much bigger than me, I don't donate my BTC anymore  Grin

careful though you might get banned without any payment... I think that pool was doing this on qubitcoin when the first gpu miner were out (lost around 1000qubit... )
by the way, do you have qubit in the queue with ccminer (not worth a lot though, but could very well resurface, also used for myriad)

This is great.  Finally I'm able to mine quark.  Found 3 blocks already running on my lonely 770 gtx at 3600 khash/s.  Now hopefully X11 is next Wink

Awesome work thank you

I tried the CPU miner pool and it sucked big time. Super slow and issues logging in etc. Went back to EXT and will take my 3 shares per 4 minutes...Sad

Anyone have an example of the config they are using to solo mine?

I fed in...

ccminer.exe -a quark -o localhost:9596 -u user -p pass -s 1

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

most likely a problem with the conf file your the coin you are mining
did you put server=1 in it ? (or wrong rpcport)
