How can I mine same time on CPU and GPUs?

I'd suggest you run the CPU mining with -t 3, to use just 3 cores, leaving one free for GPU miner duties (relevant if that CPU coin miner is already optimized for AES-NI). In any case, you can play with the number of threads for CPU mining all the way up to 7, just not the default (which uses all 8 threads).

I usually go into the task manager details and set the affinity of the GPU miner to be on my 1st core/thread (or the 1st two), and set the affinity of the CPU miner to the other ones, thus isolating one from the other.

(if you're not using windows, please ignore  Cool)

This makes me think that ccminer just has difficulties with cross-threading on the cpu. If work A is on core 0 and work B is on core 1, but you're also CPU-mining on those cores, ccminer will have to pause a bit, and he doesn't like that Tongue
Also, Intel knows how to deal with threads, so this might be why a Celeron is a winner for ccminer.
So yeah, try setting affinity to lock the processes on cores.
Please report back if that did or didn't do it Cheesy

If it did it, it's something I will implement in my ccminer gui. Should you set the affinity per ccminer, like ccminer30 on core0, ccminer50 on core1, etc... or does it matter at all? I see no real difference when I put them in one thread on my system (i5-3470)
But before you ask, I won't do a gui for minerd Tongue

Thanks, this helped me!

I have 8 logical threads on CPU - I've set 4 to CPU miner and another 4 to GPU miners - works fine Smiley

However, when I tried to assign only 2 logical threads to GPUs then I was loosing hashrates, 10% drop. I think it might be related to fact that I have 2 GPU cards, hence 1 physical core per 1 GPU card (i7-4770k has 4 physical cores and 8 logical)

Please consider our pool for your talkcoin needs talkcoin is in our other tab.
Check out our great mining pool at https://www.minep.it/
Already mining with you guys! Awesome pool Tongue There used to be a day I was on the top 10 talkcoin miners, but now, even with this boost, I'm nowhere to be seen (well, probably #11 xD )
Could you consider lowering the payout treshold to 50? TAC is getting really hard to get by as a miner, so 100 was fine a week or two ago, but times are changing rapidly Tongue

Good to hear! I'll be including this one as an option for my GUI.

So, if what Google Translate tells me is true, you're searching for a ccminer with killer groestl (for better x11 & nist5) for a 470.
But I'm sorry to disappoint you, I tried to compile it, but latest additions aren't compatible anymore with older gpu's (< compute 3.0, check yours here: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-gpus )

Thanks Bombadil for the quick upload!

BTW, what settings are you using for your 750ti? (core/mem clocks and do you over volt?)
+60core, +200mem, +31mv. I don't know if going lower could work too, but this is the highest I could get for both my EVGA SC one and Gigabyte one (same main desktop rig).
So give it a go if you're into OC Wink
Oh, thought you did more OC Cheesy Maybe I over did it? I'm running with +160-200 core (got 5 cards each with different offset) and +400 mem, 0mv.
Getting about 5.5kh/s with jpc and 8k with nist5

I'm getting the following errors compiling ccminer v1.1 on linux.  I'm using cuda6 libraries.  Is it possible that the __shfl operation isn't in there?

groestl_functions_quad.cu(258): error: identifier "__shfl" is undefined

groestl_functions_quad.cu(263): error: identifier "__shfl" is undefined

groestl_functions_quad.cu(268): error: identifier "__shfl" is undefined

bitslice_transformations_quad.cu(Cool: error: identifier "__shfl" is undefined

bitslice_transformations_quad.cu(414): error: identifier "__shfl" is undefined

I have zero experience with KopiemTu 1.3, but it was up and running JPC for me with the included ccminer.

I tried to do all the compile commands on there and saw a bunch of these streaming by, as well as a bunch that said there was 'something defined but never called'.

I tried to compile it and do it over and over with the same results... It would finish, and wouldn't complain at the end, but I couldn't get the cards to actually mine, they just sat there at 0kh/s.

If I copied back over the old files and re-started it would go back to mining not using the latest version.

If anyone gets it to work please let me know if you had to do anything special.

Wanted to report back that it didn't work for me...

Here were the steps that I did to compile (as provided to me by PVMining in a previous post).

Code:
cd /opt/miners/
mv /opt/miners/ccminer /opt/miners/ccminer-[date]
git clone https://github.com/cbuchner1/ccminer
cd ccminer
./autogen.sh
./configure
make

Bombadil,

Do you have config you are using for Talkcoin on the 750ti you could share?

And are you solo or in a pool? Any suggestions on a good one if so?

Never tried it, but since it is close to JPC want to mine something else... Diversification never hurt Smiley

I didnt think x13 was implemented in this version?  I tried putting in -a x13 and that was a no go. What parameters did you use?
