Killer hangover is cured,  so I added Killer Groestl in the quad version. This cudaminer revision is
source code only and called V1.1

the following algos should now mine faster
-quark
-anime
-x11
-jackpot
-groestl
-myr-gr
-nist5

Tomorrow I will try to get the X13 algo from the forked version back into my code and call it V1.2,
including a binary release.

Would you be so kind to test this V1.1 release out and report the speed-ups you're getting?
I've only tried Windows compilation - will the Linux version still build fine?

What other patches would you guys like to have included in V1.2 or V1.3?

WOW Chris i got 500kh more wow  where is your litecoin address i owe you some. ill give you 1.001 so you know it was me. thats the best i can do right now. Smiley

This is the Litecoin address posted on the first post: LKS1WDKGED647msBQfLBHV3Ls8sveGncnm

You can confirm that along with the address that first shows up when you start up CUDAMiner to be sure it's his address too.

AMD also got a significant boost in nist5 with the 14.6beta drivers as well.  Not as significant as ccminer v1.1, but still pretty good.

That info is around for a while but not a lot of people are willing to upgrade, because with 14.6 everything else is broken, except groestl and nist5 (some minor algos more which I don't remember).

Don't feel to bad for the AMD users.  They have a couple profitable algos that we don't have yet for nVidia like CryptoNight.

CryptoNight for GPU is not profitable as others algos. The only profitable cryptonight miner now is in hand of Christian, which he doesn't publish yet.
And I don't think of many profitable algos for AMD which we don't have. Could you elaborate ?

yes but everyone else has it now, so it's pointless, you just consume 10% more

No I don't think so. The majority of TAC miners are still AMD users. I know some monsters at the pools (over 600Mhs NIST5) and they are all AMDs. Those monsters are made up 30% of total nethash already.
actually I am pretty sure with some tweaking the amd could get to the level of nvidia with the new driver.
(as it is the case for groestl)
But as long as cg/sgminer/claymore dev will continue playing with old versions of the driver  (and say the new one is broken) it won't happen  Grin

my R9 is back in the game  Grin 15.88MHash/s on nist (but running pretty hot 80°~81°C)

Hello, I was trying of Groestlcoin with ccminer50.exe on my 750ti, I looked at the configs for 750ti on cudminer.cc
ambiohazardccminer - v1.02groestlccminer50.exe -q -s 1 -a groestlStock | Stock | Stock8800kh but I am getting no where near that hashrate , is this correct or am I doing something wrong.

[...]
It's a tactical decision to hold. And it's unwise to do that during a downward trend.
[...]

Absolutely! The critical point I was making, is making sure that your tactical decisions take into consideration your own weight into that "downward trend".  Grin If you alone (or your group mining operation) can drive the price down, you are the trendsetter!  (just stop sending it down   Roll Eyes)

~ Myagui

Edit: Opinions are like a$$holes, everybody's gone one! I just want to add that I've been known to be wrong (many times), so not trying to push my own judgement here. I'm just thinking that this group of green machines should figure out ways to cooperate to everyone's benefit, instead of stepping into one another's toes.

Is it still unwise to hold Christian?  Wink Once monero settles exchange value again, you'd be better off having a large stash and releasing the miner into the wild! Sustained increase in nethash -> Higher value (post short-term dumping). I'd say that monero is not at all the typical alt. As I mentioned earlier, I'm keeping every XMR that I can mine, and will continue to hold for at least a good few months, at which time I might part ways with just a small'ish portion of my holdings.

Awesome recent updates with CCMiner btw, you rock!!!

With BBR we are forced to hold many thousand coins because the market doesn't currently have the buying power Wink
Whenever there are sudden bursts of buying activity, we sure profit from these.

With XMR, I do not run the farms and I am not in charge of the trading either.  But oh boy, look at that XMR pump that
just happened.
