Not so very sure we can correlate the lowering in userbase and volume to the bankroll of Litecoin,,, after all, I see the same happening even with my referral numbers during the period plus in BTC. I do agree the wager competition probably has to become a lot more interesting for people, although out of curiosity I wagered last week on almost 2 days of autorolls and saw I was in around 44th place. In the old days I remember I can go much higher, so maybe volume is not as low as we think?
Have to really dig through stats but could be a way to look at long term and current effects. It must surely not just be about the bankroll effects though.

I think most of people who on top 5 highest weekly wager don't really care about bonus weekly amount they will get. They just betting and then try to earn profit without even care how much they have wager.

It is not really easy to keep gamblers in one place, do not be worried that it looks like this place is losing customers, because it depends on literally just one update and all of a sudden everyone and then some would be back here. Casinos can't keep their customers at one place for too long, they know they will go to competition to test there as well but they also know they will leave that competition to go somewhere else too, gamblers usually do not stay and gamble in just one place forever. What YOLO could do is grind as much as they can from this version of the website, get a decent amount of profit, and then use that profits to pay a designer and developer to update the website to look and work a lot better with a ton of more features and games, which would get customer base to 10x easily.

The competition of crypto casinos today can't be compared to the competition over this past few years, They do everything so that the customer won't leave them over the other. This affects us in a good way because casinos are making their best to improve and make sure that we will receive a satisfactory feeling when we play with them. Moreover, the promotions of casinos are also good for us gamblers. Casinos with established reputation can easily bring back their old clients by bringing up new promotions.

They just betting and then try to earn profit without even care how much they have wager. I believe they care about the weekly prize as it is an additional reward for them and can be something useful for their upcoming gambling activity. The weekly prize can be considered as cashback if the players lose while wagering and try to earn profit. I have to say it is non senses if the players do not care about it.

The site saw a huge drop in traffic in August which is also the month in which the Litecoin bankroll got destroyed. With the price of Bitcoin going up I think we will start to see some more gambling activity on YOLO. I am already noticing my bankroll investments performing much better in recent days after it had been flat for many weeks.

However, I do agree that lately they haven't been too exciting. I was away for 7-8 days, but I am home now, and I will try to have a discussion with Ethan this week about prizes/competitions and see if we can come up with a more exciting solution. Hello @Kiritsugu Is it doable that aside from changing prizes and implementing new competitions, YOLO can also integrate the lightning network? The decline of user base really bothers me a lot especially on the part of YOLOdice and I think one important factor in order to regain traction is by adding another layer of payment? I am aware that it would be technical and difficult but for the sake of YOLOdice being alive is important.

I agree with your point. We should not expect too much with the gambling site. Every investment contains a profound hazard we can't climate whether this speculation gives us benefit or we lose the cash. Betting is another source of investment and we put our asset for the benefit, however, we need to play with patent and legit. On the off chance that you once lose your cash, it can never recuperate, and never consider betting as a recuperation machine.

Agree with above comments that we should not be too overly worried, my post was not meant to do so. I believe the updates coming have always been well thought out, as was every decision, from bringing back investments and also from the point of wager contests.
I have been seeing my referral numbers also stagnant a little,,, still increasing but probably more slowly from before. So I wonder if it is just a period of low activity for anyone and everyone.
Agree with maus also about Lightning (which I mentioned before). Maybe this is the way to do it?

I don't really think LN (Lightning Network) will attract more people to come on yolodice. Recently they have increased the weekly reward and i think thats nice move from them. I often to see there are around ~140-170 people online on yolodice everyday.
Anyway, DOGE investment is recovered a bit, but unfortunately its price is falling due to bitcoin going up like crazy.

This is pretty interesting actually. I would like to try to play on Yolodice with Lightning Network. I found a couple of websites with one game that supports Lightning Network but I can't find any casino. It will be useful for the Lightning Network. But you are right, there is not much people that using Lightning Network at the moment.

I just found only this site which supported Lightning Network https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=750760.msg55563109#msg55563109Idk what's the reason not many people come to YD ( Yolo Dice), maybe because max bet is lower than other dice site? I knew they have lowered it because of litecoin investment got crashed anyway.

I would say adding ethereum would be a huge step, people do love ethereum and we all know how valuable it has gotten over the last few months and not having it could be hurting yolo more than we can know about it. I am not entirely sure about this but didn't yolo once had ETH back in the day? Am I wrong about that? I don't know what the case is but having multiple coins would definitely be something that would get attention. Plus doing marketing a huge amount for a short burst does ripple down to longer period of new customers, you can spend 1000 dollars on a single day or you could do 1000 dollars spread 100 each on 10 days and it wouldn't give you the same results, hence why you should check which one is better. I think with a HUGE deal for few days plus adding new coins before that, we could get back to pre-drop user numbers easily.

Adding ETH for what? If you are reffering ethereum as one of currency on Yolodice, it has been added since long time ago. If you are talking about ETH investment, yolodice had open it, but until now it's still closed due to some reasons. yolodice doesn't accept ripple.

I feel like we are expecting way too much from yolodice, they know their own numbers and we can't know about it unless we are shared the data. Maaaybe they have a lower userbase, but that is only because you see the user numbers during when you check the website out and you do not open it 24/7 so you may not know, maybe during periods when you are not online they have a lot more people? However even if them not getting same amount of user base as they used to, may not mean that they are not making profit neither. After all, they could be making a ton more profit with few more whales compared to having hundreds of small fish, instead of having people gamble with 10-50k satoshi they may need just one guy with 1 bitcoin gambling and it would be better for them?

If I lose my phone, is it possible to bypass 2FA using the master address login?
Seems you must contact them through email according their FAQ, If you have put your master address, i can say you are fine even if you lost your phone with 2FA, because you can reset/recover your account through your master address (you must sign message first)

Have you already lost it or not? What 2FA application do you use? I can recommend Authy because it has automatic backup function. So if you lose one device you can install and restore it to another one.

Obviously investment. I mean ethereum is literally right there when you open the website to gamble, I know it is available for gambling and so does anyone who have ever visited the website. However, in order to create some hype around it, they could add eth as an investment, plus put up some staking option later on when 2.0 comes up and saying that from today could mean a lot. Think about it, you put your ethereum into a casino, it makes you money + it is also staking for you + eth price goes up at the same time, you are literally earning triple the income from just putting it in one place. If they can do something like that, yolodice will probably get so much eth investment that it would be unfair to anywhere else. This would increase the numbers a ton as well.

They had open ETH investment, but just like i've said, they have closed it atm and might be they will open again in the future if they want. Yolodice has 4,3k ETH as their site profit atm which looking so good to invest indeed, but let see whether they will re-opened or not about investment on it. Since there aren't many sites opened for public investment, they could bring more people to invest on their site.
