altcoin you must realize that bitcoin itself is extremely volatile as an investment, in fact bitcoin is no way an investment & nor it was ever intended to be one. Humans are greedy by evolution , they always find ways to spoil things for profit (well that's arguable cause everything in the world is for benefits be it emotional or financial , ain't it ?) . There is literally no reason for any altcoin to exist let alone the chances of increment in its MRK. The increase in the value of your investment comes from the benefits of the product over existing ones. The main benefit of bitcoin is liberty , which 99% of the people dont care bout. Some people say low fees , i would argue that the technical knowledge needed for one to use bitcoin might kill the meaning. I would happily pay a bit more fees for a bit more comfort, as simple as that. Now what will the bitcoin holders see, Moon or Dirt ? and above that altcoins , Fucking Great.
What do you mean by good coin ? how do you evaluate, price ? profit ? technology ? community ? anonymity ? comfort-ability ? or design of the wallet ? Even bitcoin would be dumped to shit if the OLD miners start dumping their coins, not enough liquid , MRK is just pointless, who will put billions to save/support it from crashing ?. I have seen scam coins pumping harder than bitcoin & i have also seen Good coins getting dumped. Nowadays the coins future is depending on a fucking centralized exchange polo , really ? If the asshole DEVs pay polo then they list & the coin pumps otherwise it gets dumped. Do you call that an investment ? sure you could , its ur call. In that case you missed the most recent investment Zcash, was sold around 3500+ btc per zcash Hahahahaha.
99.9% of the ICOs are SCAM. The main reasons we are seeing 5 new ICOs everyday is because of lack of regulation in crypto & much free coins from old time, laptop miners you know. The only things these scammers need is a guy who could design a fucking thread on a fucking forum & give away imaginary coins for wearing Sigs & tweeting their coin. Yes, coins without ICOs can be scams too. But the chances are slim,for example Look at radium , the devs are working in the backstage ,maybe they dont post much on forums but that is not a necessity either. For a Non-ICO coin to give good returns to DEVs and as well as investors have to get pumped eventually, which might also attracts new investors depending on the tech & product.But those DEVs who already got funding via an ICO dont need anymore profit & have no reason to work or deliver what they promised or at least pump the coin a bit for investors , so they start displaying their fucking useless attitude onto users queries. Waves is a good example. Now i realize enough time is wasted writing this crappy post already.
Conclusion: Stop investing in purposeless ICOs/coins. Dont let other people take decisions with your money. Research , research and research before investing a single satoshi in any fucking coin depending on other users posts on fucking FORUMs. If you dont know too much about Cryptocurrency monitoring or which one is strong, then either stay away from it OR learn it by reading , following, researching & investing low amounts then gradually increasing it over time.
