Netcoin is one of the 15 supported coins at my store on http://www.cryptogamekeys.com (payments processed by coinpayments)

If there is a bounty for this, it can be sent to n5ZKm2wEpBASTkF581ySN7eEhGtzzgJULp

If there isn't a bounty, i'll take donations too ^^

^^

This had to happen at some point, but, hey even before launch ? LOL

(jdebunt this is not the netcoin you think)

Lots of attention and potential. Can we expect an announcement from taco soon?

I'm hoping I won't be posting in this thread again except to announce that options to crowdfund will be available through trusted partners here on bitcointalk.

Sorry, but for the next while until launch I think there will be a lot of radio silence from me.

I'm looking forward to next year.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been viewing this thread several times a day since April. Finally glad to see that we are getting somewhere.

Please explain how transaction fees are applied.

PoS is good but the issue I'm having with PPC's fixed transaction fees is that it discourages microtransactions which kinda defeats the purpose of cryptocurrencies. BTC is superior to gold because it is spendable even at small amounts. PPC's fixed transaction fees is like going a step backward. The way the fees are structured is very important since this will dictate the usability of the coin which is the only thing that gives it value.

Will the fees be dynamic like bitcoin? Is there a possibility to have zero transaction fees when there is less transactions to confirm on the network?

There are many other purposes to cryptocurrencies besides microtransactions. It was an early, unscalable selling point of bitcoin. Simply put, microtransactions do not scale as at some point they will be directly in conflict with "macro" transactions. Small amounts of money can be easily and usually safely transacted off-chain.

Yes, small amounts of money can be transacted off-chain but that usually requires you to trust a third party who is responsible for holding and guaranteeing the redeemability of the coins. Sure there are more uses of cryptocurrencies but the main purpose of it is to transact without requiring to trust a third party.

I'm going through and updating my list of innovative ALTs to be on the look out for. I'm glad to see this is still under development! Some of the projects I've been checking in on have seemed to have died. Sad

Good job Taco, keep the dream alive, and good luck on the crowdfunding!

What do you guys think of JP Morgan's filing for a patent in digital currencies? http://www.coindesk.com/jp-morgan-chase-patent-digital-payment-system/

I'm aware it's not related as such to the development of MC2 but I think it should be considered (where possible) in the sense of if it is easy to use, people may flock to this. I sincerely hope not since they'll be presumably no different from existing institutions.

Opinions?
