Can anyone point out the innovations of this alt coin because although it looks solid i can't find something that wasn't done already.

Its not reinventing the wheel, its building a better one. It combines a few innovations and makes a few of its own:

http://www.netcoin.io/wiki/Netcoin:Community_Portal

The fact that it wont be pre-mined or instamined (whatever like Quarkcoins and others), means that it has a real chance to be the big #3 coin.

There are so few truly quality developers in the crypto space. This needs to happens ASAP.

Personally, I hope they stick with "Netcoin" as the name, as the other imposter "netcoin" will surely fade away once this comes out.

Netcoin is one of the 15 supported coins at my store on http://www.cryptogamekeys.com (payments processed by coinpayments)

If there is a bounty for this, it can be sent to n5ZKm2wEpBASTkF581ySN7eEhGtzzgJULp

If there isn't a bounty, i'll take donations too ^^

Another to add to the FAIL list. Keep coming Smiley
Maybe the mention to netcoin on the main thread should be deleted, or even better block this entire thread.

Seems like Netcoin is really gaining traction.  Price is steadily rising and the network hash rate is over 300 MH/s.  I've watched this coin for a while.  The coin is fairly mature at this point and I suppose the exposure on coinmarketcap gave it a kick.  Good times for Netcoin. Smiley

Just my 2cents...

This project is moving slower than molasses. You need to develop a sense of urgency if this coin is to succeed. There are numerous coins out there, all in development, which have the same features your "netcoin" has. Please think about whether the coin needs ALL the features at launch date. You can always update the code later to add more features; sometimes it's better to ship something earlier even if it isn't the perfect realization of the idea YET.

edit:: and the name isn't that good either. too bland and generic.

Mc2 is interesting;  Quark is kind of the opposite in execution .

Quark was just made from the forum and then it will be innovation in real time , in this way I guess the community participation causes a buzz and people see direct benifits .

A lot of great ideas have been floated in this topic but .

Maybe Mc2 was a victim of too many cooks ?

Or is it the difference between open open source , and closed open source ?

Where maybe the discussion was shielded a bit because the Cooks felt that they were making the "perfect" design ?

Then momentum was lost ?

I hope it still happens but .

Based on me reading words left to right in the previous pages, it's my understanding that MC2 and Netcoin are considered development names now, not the final symbol and name...even though Netcoin/MC2 preceeded the other coin with the same name (as apparently that dev was oblivious to what had already been happening in crypto when he named his coin.)

At any rate, the product precedes the name at this point.

Say no to Quark. Quark's marketing team works very hard to make security a joke. I think that Quark developers are just bundle of PHP developers who are familiar with making user's password more obscure by nesting multiple md5() calls: $password = md5(md5(md5($userPassword))). They calls it security. Ha ha. Good joke.

MC2 is a vaporware. For now. Let it rest in peace.

Hey Folks,

When will this coin be released? And where would we be able to buy it? I know that some coins dont get listed on an exchange which is really frustrating. I have been watching this thread for sometime now. I really think the name should be changed and alot of offert put in to make this clear. Now alot of good money is gong to this leech coin and the real netcoin is, due to the necessary confusing surrounding its name, making a bad name and entry.

This seems interesting.  Similar enough to PPC but still different.

I believe the delayed production can be a positive.  Should the desire to continue here exist, clever observers of how all coins are being used/abused during this period of high media attention could lead to rather brilliant course corrections prior to production, should they be necessary.
