Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy?

I doubt they will increase price of Giant (if it stays same) much. Now 3 "new" cubes will give same 900 for 2400 price. Which is more or less same of Giant. Group buy of 30 Giants where barely filled at 1900$ price. That happened before DASH pump though.

yeah but they previously peg'd price to DASH...so if they do that ..imho figure on a 1/3 price increase for the same hash..add a 1/3 increase in difficulty for X11 coins/dash etc
and it is looking less attractive...and again this peg to dash was at least what they did when they first released the
mini's and the quads....again I'm just speculating on all this..but damn ..looks familar...

....(seen this before 2nd batch or 3rd batch asics are always more then previous batches btc/ltc etc machines...if not the asic maker goes full KNC or BFL
and holds the units and mines them themselves..with late or in knc's case NEVER anymore outside sale......it is like an asic maker constant..like gravity..imho that is why bitmain pulled the last batch of orders....better to mine themselves hold off on the L3's and push out the L3+ framework..sometime after they mine the hell out of the L3's on the data hall..when
they want to rotate them out .fill with L3+'s for a month or so ahead...then release to the public later ..at a hefty markup...if LTC price shoots up as well..they will be frigging golden......hell they control more then 1/2 of the new scrypt equip on the LTC network at least..why blow up their own mining...anyway 2013-2016 btc mining games come
to ltc ....as well in 2017....deja vu for me  imho (hope I'm wrong)

The product page is recent(as in the past 12 hours)...so nobody has one of the cube miners yet.

I was just told this by baikal skype...but also told basically they will just announce on the web site.

The last time they sent out the email to all me, according to the date/time it was 1/2 day after the miners sold out

Thus outside of China, it is gonna be damn tough

The page now shows a 300mh for 800 usd at 120 watts...thus 5 month ROI kinda sorta...so with x11 and next batch of A900 baikals I suppose and
dash difficulty/ all X11 coin difficulty  flying up and the prices going down...you likely will easily ROI in a year ..and it makes a nice toy
but on MY expectations of a 33% bump in the price of an A900 from $2350 to say around $3,200 bucks and
of course the corresponding further slam up in difficulty on x11 stuff. eh....not gonna get too worked up about not getting any.

Well, more of a toy at that point and I'll wait and pick one up used or just watch the feeding frenzy

It is starting to look like (imho) with scrypt prices and x11 prices and the corresponding rise in difficulty for both
that the bitmain L3's I got will be my 'deal' for 2017... I usually manage 1 score a year, me thinks that was it..
.you can't fall into the head of the line all the time on these asic miner unicorn herds...don't ya know

Anyway, my view of unicorns....I bag'd some.....now they went on vacation again Will accumulate some crypto and hold and hunt some
more this fall maybe? (good to have goals)

they are 80 watt, not 120watt, 5 months roi, but with the right early mining new coins can be much less

the giant was saying to be 6 months roi, but guess what? in one month i have already made 50% of the investment

I agree, ROId my mini in just under 3 months.
You just need to have some luck and patience.

It looks like it has a 6 pin PCIe jack but the quoted text sounds like it says you need to use a barrel adapter.
