One thing, your main programmer already made one clonecoin with pretty much no modifications. So i qm not exactly sure if you guys can really deliver up to your promises.

Bitcedi (former coin that lulworm released):

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1474935.0

Good point. If that's the only dev on this project it's doomed.

Aand here comes a new thread, i just find this project overall very suspicious.

Dont forget to link it here.

Well, firstly, everyone learns as they go along, so working on one coin gains you experience to improve and expand and then develop something better. I think you will find that many coin devs. have worked on many projects. Secondly, most all coins are what you call 'clonecoins'. This is the nature of open source software, you take some code and use it for your own purposes and modify it and make it better. We will improve on SDC and make it more secure and we are just about finished the native integration of Tor in the code. We will have an Android 'thin' wallet soon as a first step to the anon. remittance app, and you forget we are 4 on this team.

Suspicious, why? We have the code on GitHub for all to see, we have wallets, block explorer, we are not hiding anything. We acknowledged that there we some mistakes initially as explained in the FAQ and we fixed that. We have never tried to hide the fact that we are based on SDC. We will improve on SDC and take it in a different direction.

What is great is that you are free to choose whether to get some Spectre or not. If you have something constructive to say thats great as well. However, just regurgitating words like 'clonecoin' and 'suspicious' without qualifying your statement and clearly without having read the FAQ doesn't lend you, my friend, any credibility but just makes you look like a two-bit troll and FUDder.

We have taken a great code and will improve on it. You are welcome to join or free to pass. Freedom...and privacy!!

What are the goals required to meet before releasing the funds from escrow to the dev team?

If there are no goals except a working block chain and wallet then having the escrow is a false sense of security because anyone even me can release a wallet and code that works. And it would cost me less than $500 to make it happen.

Are their goals for releasing the money and if so what are they?

If you have read the OP, then you will know the rules for the ICO:

- We will have provided working Windows and Mac Qt wallets for Spectrecoin.
- The source code is public and available on GitHub.
- Distribution of 19 million SPEC has been completed to all investors relative to investment and any bonus as shown in the investors ‘account' and according to https://ico.spectreproject.io/allicodeposits.php which is a ledger of investments.
- The Spectrecoin network is running and investors are able to transact.
- We have provided a working block explorer for Spectrecoin.

This is pretty standard fare really, the ICO is for you (if you want) to buy some coins and the escrow is there to make sure you get your coins. It's really as simple as that.

The funds are to be used to further the development of the Android mobile platform mainly and PR.

The security in the escrow is for you to be sure that you get your coins. It's true that anyone can release any coin, and we see that every day in fact. However, we are working on the code now we will have more features in place before the end of the ICO. We will have the whole network running under Tor and Tor integrated in the wallets. We will also have the first version of the Android wallet out very soon.

We are confident that we have a very good coin and after we are running under Tor only (which SDC is not doing) I would suggest that Spectre is the coin with the best anonymity around.

That can be both positive and negative,
there are multiple serial clone coin creators, lulworm does not fit that category

and i'll agree with Mandica that previous experience can be very helpful, and there seems multiple people involved with Spectre which is definitely positive.

all i can say is if anyone has an issue with clone coins, why are they here in the Altcoin section?

I agree with that point of view. There are actually very few completely original cryptocurrencies not based on any other code base. I am not talking about the so called Bitcoin v2.0 coins here, such as Ethereum but only cryptocurrencies.

Welcome back , I thought you guys decided to leave the project behind. I guess there is a problem on the ICO stats on the website, It says Total BTC raised: 4.58850501 BTC while they are less on the address controlled by OgNasty (3.88 BTC) .

It's including the bonus values. No, we didn't leave. We are working hard behind the scene to bring this forward. I just wasn't used to all the trolls and mindless FUD. We reconfigured slightly and we're running a new thread. In the end, all the adversity and lack of interest in the ICO has only strengthened the resolve to get this project out and prove them wrong.

In away the trolls and the FUD shows that some people are concerned about what we are doing. If people didn't care they wouldn't bother.

Just a quick ICO update
It is curious to see that at the moment, someone will take home 4,968,938.67399308 SPEC for an investment of less than 1 BTC and that an investment of less than 0.25 BTC will get you more than 1 mill. SPEC out a total supply of 20 mill. Some investors will walk away very happy if the ICO continues like this.

That is a very insightful analysis. The level of discourse is mind-boggling and emotionally overwhelming. Thank you. We can deliver and we are confident that you'll be face-palming shortly when you didn't get in early. Is this really the best you, scam-exposer, can do? Have a look at the source at GitHub (try to ignore the rather silly graphics) https://github.com/spectrecoin/spectre and you will see that this is a fully working system. Have a look at the block explorer https://chainz.cryptoid.info/spec/ and download the wallet. Then come to Slack to discuss instead of just posting random slander.

https://slack.spectreproject.io/

Welcome scam-exposer if you are able to formulate some sensible questions.

First link is correct , the second is not. It's Spectre and not Spectro , Spectro is a bitcoin debit card service like Wirex,CoinsBank and many others. If you want to invest into the project then you should give SpectreProject a visit.

Yes, just don't confuse the two, if you the read article on NewsBTC, they made a mistake but they fixed it. It is SPECTRE so:
