I also don't get the concept behind it. Banking the unbanked is obviously a noble task and I really encourage any efforts to get this done. BUT. Why do we nee an extra token for this. Could just use bitcoin or an altcoin and build a user-friendly environment for merchants and custormers.

Now that I would be very curious to see, as there are a number of Africans on the team (go, global South!).
