What are the (dis)advantages of being given ERC20 tokens now? BTW choosing yes or no works like voting, meaning the token will be issued to all participants or none, right?

I don't think that's the case. My understanding is that if you request the ERC20 tokens they'll ask you for an ETH address to send them to. If you say no, they'll hold onto them until the mainnet launches.

Just got an email with my allocation. Thanks.
Would you be able to outline what the perks are with the ERC20 tokens? If we opt to wait for the main net launch when could we expect to receive the coins issued?

There is no voting. Cool idea though. This is an individual response for if you desire to receive ERC20 tokens or wait

Hi,

I want to select the "Yes" option, but after there is nowhere a validation button. What shall I do?

Thank you

Select "Yes" and submit it, that's all!

I would also be interested what is the difference of waiting for the mainnet or getting ERC20 now?
The ERC20 are the legitimate tokens, no? This would mean as soon as they are supported on any exchange you could trade with them?

Exactly. Getting the ERC20 tokens will allow you to trade as soon as it is listed on exchange, even before the mainnet launch.

So, what is the advantage of not getting the tokens before the mainnet launches? In any case they will be the same tokens, no?

can you comment on how similar this is to your implementation?

Basicaly once you have ERC20 tokens in your posses you are free to do what you want with them (i.e sell, trade etc).
Then when mainnet will launch the swap will be 1:1 ratio.

I'm following this project since its announcement and I've invested some in presale.
Really excited to see how development will build now and if a good community can be built here. I'm sure QRL can surpass ETH in terms of innovations, let the game begin.  Cool

"
The quantum-safe blockchain developed by the Russian Quantum Center secures the blockchain by combining quantum key distribution (QKD) with post-quantum cryptography so that it is essentially un-hackable. The technology creates special blocks which are signed by quantum keys rather than the traditional digital signatures. These quantum keys are generated by a QKD network, which guarantees the privacy of the key using the laws of physics." - Peter

"Summary of my understanding, while theoretically feasible, it is not economically or practically feasible at this time. There are a number of limitations that would not make this solution something "we the people" could us any time soon. QKD has been around a while, but as @peterwaterland said, it is specialized hardware. It has been around a while though. I believe China has been trying to test a satellite with it.

Also, after rereading the study. Because they require pair communication/entanglement, security against dishonest nodes requires that less than 33% of the network be dishonest. That is a very low threshold.

```QKD Commercialisation
Research is being done at present to extend the range and increase the data rate of QKD systems, and to integrate these systems with existing information security solutions. One of the reasons for the range limitation of QKD is because quantum repeaters don’t currently exist. Quantum repeaters should be able to improve the signal to noise ratio of the communication medium to ensure that the signal can travel much larger distances, but quantum computation principles are required to construct a quantum repeater. Furthermore, the possibility of using satellites as part of the QKD infrastructure to extend the range of QKD networks significantly is being investigated. Initial results are promising, the point-to-point range of fibre optic lines is 400 km at present for research systems while satellite communications could make this intercontinental.
There are a number of companies that offer QKD hardware at present; these include ID Quantique, MagiQ Technologies, SeQureNet, and QinetiQ. In addition, Quintessence Labs is in the process of developing a second generation QKD network that relies on continuous variable QKD to increase the secure channel data rate. The systems offered by these companies rely on communication on standard fibre optic lines and in many cases use a different frequency band for quantum communications to ensure simultaneous data and QKD connections on the same line. Therefore, QKD works by using existing fibre optic infrastructure.``` -https://labs.mwrinfosecurity.com/blog/the-current-state-of-quantum-cryptography-qkd-and-the-future-of-information-security"
An ERC20 token will be issued today or tomorrow. It will be converted into the "real" token when mainnet goes live in august.
The ERC20 token will be tradeable so exchanges could pick it up.
My guess is liqui will have it first.
