This again? I already sold out at 10 satoshi 2 years ago, then the next day it got pump and dumped to 1400 satoshi. I aint playing this game again.

Would you mind to show us, when Mooncoin hit 1400 sat?

--> http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mooncoin/#charts

According to that chart, the highest (so far) was 31 sat.

You'd need real cheap power, if it should be profitable for you. At the moment something like this would be something to think about:
http://www.innosilicon.com/html/mining-asic/14.html

But really, unless you have really cheap power, it will most probably not be profitable for you. Otherwise it is always better to invest into the coin directly.

@metamorphin: Could you tell us more about DK3 (link?)?

BitSend, BitCore, Europecoin. All are working very well with DK3.

The subreddit /r/mooncoin is also getting active. Sell walls are crushing, buy walls increasing. I sense a bright future.

By the way, are the devs still active?

So glad I invested into Mooncoin! Looks like this coin is going to go up quite a bit in the coming weeks and months. That's my opinion Smiley

I have 20mhs hashra miners and 20MHS equal gaw miners. Is it profitable to mine mooncoin using them ?
My electricity cost is 0.2/kwh.
Thank you.

as discussed with mooncoin_foundation; we had switched to digishield as of block 1,100,000.
it may not be perfect, but it has done quite a reasonable job in regards to protection against massive hashpower.

we can consider another algo change, but we've had quite a bit of code changed in the codebase for the last 4-5 months alone; i can see how it would be a pain for the exchanges/pools to keep putting them through this. for the future - definitely.

sure is, however the old wallet won't work with the network anymore.
latest wallet available at https://github.com/mooncoindev/mooncoin/releases/download/0.10.5-tokenblock/Mooncoin-qt.zip

backup a copy of your old wallet.dat (located at %appdata%\roaming\mooncoin), install and synchronize the new client, then close, copy your wallet.dat back in and relaunch.

I don't know if anyone else noticed but probably due to the price increase miners churn away blocks way more smoothly Smiley

You could contact www.whattomine.com to add Mooncoin again, as it is now back into Satoshi-land. They removed it from their site after Cryptopia removed MOON and they don't support NovaExchange at the moment. Now, as there are buy-offers in the MOON/BTC-market at bleutrade, they can add MOON again to their service. Then you'll have a good information on how profitable Mooncoin is to mine for your equipment and electricity-price.

You can contact them here: http://whattomine.com/contacts/new
