I can't sync the wallet, no connection at all. Do I need to add nodes manually? Can anyone help?

here  ?  tokenblok 0.10.5  ?

Hi James,

Since difficulty retargeting algorithm will have to be changed as it is obviously flawed in current mining environment (huge pools jumping in and out), a hardfork is needed to update this if I understand correctly?
I agree with you when a hardfork will be needed anyhow that updating the PoW algorithm could be a nice extra. Any algo's you're currently considering?
Could you also update the repository so the community can review changes being made and perhaps contribute and assist in updating the codebase?
Thanks for your efforts.

i've got a range and have discovered the candidate that is currently in place is not ideal; as there is a large (and arguably unfair) advantage given to GPU miners.
its not currently set in stone; but ideally i'd like to see a primarily cpu based algo - with gpu mining possible but not with any major (1.5-2x) advantage.

makes it fair for everyone Smiley

thanks barrysty1e for the web wallet, it work fine on Android

but maybe you want to apply on Yobit.net to add MOON ?
when they did add fujicoin on 2 June it went from 2 sat to 110 sat

and they are usually more willing to add new coins than other exchanges

i've noticed that it does take some time to successfully discover other nodes for some reason; this wasnt always the case though.
this will be given attention in the next release.

for the moment:
addnode bazco.in add
addnode moonrush.org add

done via debug console should get it up and running.

It is so obvious how this is working, and shortsighted the strategy, why place such big selling walls only that people would start selling the coins cheaper to you:)) there are so many coins  Smiley)) it's too bad.

I invested some amount at 2 sat, double my coins by trading, but i wanted to invest more btc. But it's not viable seeing this process.

Good afternoon from Greece. I have said in the past that Mooncoin was a great opportunity in 1 satoshi or less. I continue to believe that the possibilities are for much bigger prices...We will see them !  Smiley

You could services like this:

http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881

but I know it is not considered a good practice, because you should trust that blockchain provider 100%!

It won't go much more because, instead of heaving a nice distribution, TOP 10 wallets have half of the coins that the others 34.000 users are having , and the top 100 holder have almost the same quantity as the other 34.000 wallets.  You do the math.

It pure math Smiley most important the number of coins from the top 100 holders has risen in the past 3 days with several percents, and the total number of coins from the rest 34k users has reduced.

HELLO JAMES,

I PURCHASED MOON COINS AND TRANSFERED IT TO MY MOONRUSH WALLET, EVERYTHING WAS GOOD I SAW THE FUNDS ON THE WALLET THEN THE NEXT DAY EVERYTHING DISAPEARED FROM THE MOONRUSH WALLET BUT WHEN I CLICK ON MY RECEPTION LINK WE CAN SEE THE CONFIRMED TRANSACTION, I FOLLOWED YOUR INSTRUCTION FOR MISSING FUNDS AND MY WALLET IS STILL IN SYNC BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE TO RECOVER MY FUNDS.

HERE IS MY RECEPTION LINK: 2c8ztTKPH9Dxv9kQw1h3gL8M9aVPBH22BA

Thank you in advance for your help.

PS: is there an e-mail where discussion can be more private?

Cheers.

moonrush mobile wallet now is in maintenance.
If you want to recover the coins right away, you have to import the private key into Mooncoin CORE qt wallet  Grin

The full Mooncoin client works great and syncs fast.
If you see "No block source available" it generally means that currently there is a pause between blocks due to
issues with difficulty readjustment algo (which will be fixed in a new release).
Mooncoin was designed to be very fast (a 90 sec block time) and it's going to match it in the future,
however, currently it has a DigiShield algo implemented (to protect small miners) which leads to these pauses between blocks (will definitely be replaced with healthy solution).
If you want to sync your wallet, just make sure that your PC is online and leave the wallet sync for a while.
Then check it again (it can be after several hours) and you'll see instead of "No block source available" - "Synchronizing with network".
In 2-3 days it should be finished (it's normal and even fast if we compare it to other cryptos).

I don't understand it so I'm not asking to argue or anything, I ask to know how it works: how does this affect the future expectations of this or any coin? Isn't it possible that the big wallet-holders won't sell so the price won't rise?
