it wont be centralized because the entire system has been built in order to make it be a decentralized currency, why do you think that it is very different from all the other currencies?

In bitcoin we trust!

I don't have any ideas on this question but i don't think it will happen bitcoin is made by decentralized currency and all blockchain is also decentralized so it is impossible to be happens. If they do that it will take a long time to process it because no one can control and touch bitcoin. So i believe it won't happen even in the near future.

As Bitcoin mining is partially controlled by Chinese miners, I have a feeling that sometime in the near future, Bitcoin can become centralized if no solution against this is proposed.

If BTC could manage to bring a solution towards mining centralization by preventing mining pools with the most hashrate to effectively gain control of the network, then it would aim to become more decentralized over the years.

As mining difficulty increases and new ASIC hardware gets developed, it would make it less possible for any average user to mine Bitcoin, thus making it more centralized each day.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this, as if BTC becomes centralized, it might cause it to decrease in value, and most of all, violate the principles that it was created for.  Smiley

With how bitcoin is made and its purpose is I don’t think that it would get centralized. I think that it would stay decentralized and its anonymity would be the selling point even of it is the controversial factor that turns off most of the investors. But, with regulations and policies that would be fair to both parties I trust that this would make bitcoin be more than what it is now and would be able to keep its personality whilst being legitimate

I do not think that bitcoin will become decentralized, as it contradicts the very idea of the cryptocurrency. Then everything will lose its meaning.

when all blocks where mined after that I do not think chaina will have the capibilty they have now. or if people think about transaction costs will be the highest level in the world, the total transaction costs more and more and the whole world opens transaction fees for bitcoin. Smiley

If bitcoin becomes decentralized, it will lose its uniqueness. Therefore, I am sure that the developers will do everything to prevent this from happening.

Bitcoin will not become centralized because that will be in contrary to the fundamental feature of Blockchain Technology. Bitcoin will remain decentralized, however a little regulation will help as in the case of the Chinese

I dont think bitcoin will be centralized in the future. Because crypto currency meaning is decentralized, means that it can not be controlled or manipulated by someone or some organizations. But if bitcoin becomes centralized in the future then its meaning will be gone. If that happens then im sure that bitcoin will be better for currency than investments, because its will value will become constant.

no ? because bitcoin will not be centered by a person and the organization or government that exists in other words means crypto currency is not decentralized, meaning that it can not be controlled or manipulated by someone or some organization. If the bitcoin is centered there will be a split that exists among the existing bitcoiner.

Maybe because the government might noticed that the people are starting to like the bitcoins and they wanted know to use it rather than cash because they are very convenient rather than cash so the government will think if they are gonna implemented the bitcoins they must have a control with it. But for me the most possible thing to happen if that time comes is the government will create their own cryptocurrency that will represent their country it is like a modern version of their monetary unit.

despite the fact that POW stays reliable algorithm, there’s a danger for bitcoin to be centralized so far, yes, the rich keep getting richer and I can’t see the solution of main trouble – initial coin distribution…

At a future time if Bitcoins will be used by everyone to purchase and sell goods and services without the need to convert to fiat currency like USD or EURO then I don't think that there will be a need for centralization. However, as soon as Bitcoins gets in touch with fiat currencies then centralization comes into the picture. Because the latter is a government issued, control (centralized) currency. Thus we should strive and envision a future where there will be just cryptocurrencies and blockchain when it comes to currency, no more fiat. This would be hard for most to transit, but I think its doable and would result in a truly decentralized system of currency.

maybe that's right and will most likely happen. because the main purpose of Nakamoto's person who created bitcoin is as a currency that every country and world can accept.

The whole idea behind Bitcoin was to create a decentralized currency, a currency free from the Governments and banks. If someone somehow managed to centralized it, that would mean Bitcoin has failed its original purpose and it will become worthless.

is it going to happen that bitcoin will have a center but if it will happen whether our country is ready to accept the existence of bitcoin and maybe there will be a lot of disagreement about the idea and with the current circumstances it is comfortable and there is never any problem and what we produce also never experienced obstacles.

I am sure bitcoin will never change from decentralized to centralized. because the miners are not just from china, the change of bitcoin properties from decentralized to centralized miners must control more than 50% hashpower .. in this question how many hashpower that has been controlled by mining equipment china right now, this need to have data that hashpower power accuracy is controlled by china with its mine tool so we can deduce bitcoin will be centralized what not

If bitcoin one day becomes something centralized, then bitcoin will lose its essence in my opinion. Bitcoin exists because it wants to counter that centralized. I hope it will never happen, but I also don't know how the future will be.
