iExec is extremely proud to be presenting the first end-to-end solutions for integrating Intel SGX for decentralized computing.

One of the first full solutions in the industry, this is a huge release for iExec.

It looks really very good and if it is actually safe, then success will not take long to wait, good team work
Intel SGX (Intel Software Guard Extensions), is a set of CPU instruction codes that enable the execution of select pieces code and data in protected areas called enclaves. Basically, while you have an application running on a host machine, SGX enclaves essentially act as a bubble, isolating and protecting the application from the host machine, in this way, even the root privilege administrator of the host machine is not able to penetrate this bubble to access and tamper with the application.
The trust scores you see are subjective; they will change depending on who you have in your trust list.

Of course that is professional spirit to push this platform to more reliable and secured system. There is link to video presentation to understand about this integration how this will resolve security related issue and will provide more secure structure in future. This platform has more power than before so that in coming days it will get more solid place.

PoCo Series #5 — Open decentralized brokering on the iExec platform

iExec V2, released May 2018, introduced the Marketplace. The iExec Marketplace is composed of both on-chain and off-chain entities that allow anyone within the iExec ecosystem to trade cloud computing resources power, buying and selling computing power like a commodity. While ‘PoCo’ is the consensus protocol that governs the execution of jobs, it is the marketplace that enables trading, locking required ‘stake’ and initiates jobs. The marketplace and PoCo are two complementary elements that will evolve independently.

These were best state of the art writes up for today which I came to read. First one where it was called airbnb and the way it was explained it was so interesting that read that with deep interest like first time reader. Second one here Poco protocol was explained in such a highly professional way that even new comers understands everything without any effort.

Dev Letter #25: iExec SGX User Guide

iExec announces iExec’s End-to-End (E2E) Intel SGX Solution, providing full E2E data protection for blockchain-based computation. End-to-end protection means full protection of the application data, user data, embedded data as well as application output data. If a Dapp runs on a Blockchain-based decentralized cloud, all this data need to be strictly encrypted and protected. This Development letter acts as a guide introducing steps for users can get started and run an application protected by SGX, guaranteeing the security of the application data.

I was ready to watch what is coming out little later which is called trusted execution in action. If you check social media alone can gather lot of information about cool stuff and features which were introduced or demonstrated during Devcon 4. When things are happening with speed activity level of people has decreased here but they will return back very soon. In a while morning session will be available from Prague, am waiting for more interesting features.

If after this technology's presentation price were not moving that was really making me think other way. This time market showed deep appreciation to new solution for end to end solution which mainly address scaling and privacy. iExec as business with out of the way solutions for long awaited problems is becoming pioneer in these areas of its expertise. We are watching something more interesting periodically.

There was lot of buzz on twitter about iExec party and summit in spite of having it on my watch list didn't succeed to watch expect few minutes of stream in hurry from mobile device. Based on the announcement with pictures of speakers got the message what could have been talked. iExec already has accessed to big companies by binding partnerships with them. Letting the security talks for closing of party is interesting move.
