iExec Brings the Decentralized Cloud one step Closer With First SDK.

"There are quite a few different projects focusing on cloud computing. Adding an element of decentralization to this business model is not easy. iExec, one of the companies active in this space, released its first SDK this week. Blockchain apps can now access a scalable and affordable off-chain computing cloud. An interesting development that will certainly open up a lot of new opportunities.

Most people know the iExec project by now. This blockchain-based decentralized cloud computing platform is of great importance. While it may not be the perfect solution, a lot of progress is being made as we speak. The first SDK will certainly shift things into a higher gear over the next few months. That is only part of the big news, though. It is important to give app developers access to this scalable and affordable off-chain computing cloud."

I added iExec to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com/) to allow new users to learn about iExec and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support RLC so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your RLC addresses on your profile to receive tips / payments / donations in RLC from other users Smiley

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help me add supported services? The more active the iExec profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover the iExec project!

I hope before big players realizing the potential I will have time to pick more tokens up. RLC is flying totally under the radar in spite of being backed by well known computing company. All the stuff which is being shared constantly looks amazing cool and impressive.

Whats the difference form Sia coin ? ( in term of cloud)
SIA is a decentralized data storage provider, a bit like IPFS, Swarm, StorJ, and others.

iExec will work with ALL of them:

When you design a decentralized app, you might want to (1) put the payment and reputation parts on Ethereum, (2) storage on SIA, IPFS or Swarm and (3) computation on iExec.
