Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Celebrating the First Anniversary of iExec's ICO

On April 19, 2017, French-Chinese company, iExec, successfully closed a record breaking crowdsale of its cryptocurrency. iExec offer a new blockchain based solution to decentralized Cloud Computing. One year later, we are presented with the opportunity to look back and make an assessment of the project’s development since this initial fundraiser and look forward to what we will see next from iExec.

iExec is developing a decentralized marketplace network that will connect application developers in need computing power to resource providers. The iExec network will be a free marketplace, developed on top the Ethereum blockchain where ‘smart contracts’ allow for trading computing resources with the highest level of transparency, resiliency and security. Currently, iExec employs around 20 people and the team is gradually strengthening, being made up of world-class blockchain hackers, business developers and marketing specialists.

iExec’s unique selling point is the innovation of their consensus protocol named " Proof Of Contribution" or ‘PoCo’ that is essential for a fair and decentralized infrastructure.

RLC token deserves much more value being backed by a physically operating company with established business and active partners. If I say this token is one of the very few which are heavily under valued due to unknown reasons will not bad. This isn't for speculation but price of token is used to measure the project for further investment. This recent partnership will bring mutual benefits to both project good for everyone.

I have  another question

(Please  can you answer the question of investitors?)

I saw  that  RLC makes  off-line computation

What  does  this  mean?    I am  little noob  about this.

What will be  the difference  between on-chain and off chain computation?

When  you say ''It  will make  Off chain  computation''  what does this mean?

Where  will it  take the  power?  ''Off chain'' ,  I have understood,  but ''where''?

Where  is  offchain?  What  does it  mean?

Please if you would answer to this question

Another  question:  What is about   scalability?

What  would  it  happen  if Ethereum will be not  able to scale?

Will  this  affect  Iexec  too?

Iexec  won' t  be able  to scale, so  it will be  useless?   Or  is Iexec  blockchain agnostic?  Can  it  migrate to another  smart contract platform?

This week, we celebrated the first anniversary of the RLC token’s release on main net. Now, one year later, we are edging closer to iExec Version 2. This is a major release for the team and this Dev Letter will introduce its various innovations that have never been seen before in cloud computing.

The Version 2 release is named "The Dragon in the Clouds" in reference to Gongsun Sheng, a character of the Chinese classic novel Water Margin.

Hadrien Croubois has published the PoCo Series #3, where you can learn how the Proof-of-Contribution is working. The PoCo is the consensus protocol that verifies the result of an off-chain computation.

iExec is teaming up with Ubisoft! An opportunity to share expertise and ideas with the world leading game publishers to shape the entertainment industry of tomorrow.

In addition, iExec is now part of the Red Herring Europe Top 100! Red Herring’s editors were among the first to recognise that companies such as Alibaba, Facebook, Google, SalesForce.com, Skype, SuperCell, Spotify, Twitter, and YouTube would change the way we live and work.

iExec Dev Letter #18: V2, The Dragon in the Clouds— April 23, 2018
"To understand the benefit of a global market for computing power, let us draw comparisons with the oil market. When you are stopped at a gas station, filling your car with oil, you have little to no idea where that oil comes from or how it arrived at that gas pump. There is an entire industry behind the scenes, that has standardized the whole process from petroleum extraction, to processing, to transport and delivery, and eventual utility being consumed by vehicles."

I dont sell, but I'm not a big whale... I think there is some manipulation going on. People want more RLC before the bullrun in May.Interesting to see how this reputation vs price is going to work out in the computing marketplace. Smiley
