It's not 100% sure but everyone has hope that the price will increase a coming Chinese new year. So we have only couple days for this event. If you wait means you may make some profit. iam new and i don't have much knowledge about trading of bitcoin but i have much experience in the trading of shares of different company and from my point of view i think that is not the right time to sell because i think its price will increase in next couple of month so wait for the right time........

In next few weeks itself, I guess we are going to see a good rally toward $1200 and then $1500 levels. It is physiological expectation that bitcoin could easily reach $1150 levels again, so once it hit there it would be bumped  more to trap those profit booking investors. I guess this type of rally may continue till $2000 levels too.

So, waiting for good prices is the thing I am doing right now. Selling now may trap us to regret later.

I could agree with you on that, not because I like to see a good price but that is also based on my analysis. The thing is, we were able to reach $1,100 so it's not hard to get back on that amount and when it happen it will continue to increase. I am actually very excited to see that price, I will just hold now until my prediction will take place.

Trading of alt coins is somehow the same with the stocks trading that you are referring. But they are both profitable and since we are into bitcoins yes the time now is still not enough if you are going to sell. We just need to wait some more as the price has always the chance to increase more. And this year is still long enough to wait.

But I think we should have sold everything when the prices were at $1,100 a few days ago and just bought when the price dropped. But that was a hard decision to make and a lot of people made mistakes in buying and selling at the time.

its not going to move back to 1100 any moment, you're not going to profit waiting for now because they are in the process of testing segwit. litecoin has been their guinea pig  as of now. if it turn out that segwit will be implemented as agree on consensus, we might just see the drop of btc price.

tell me your proof and I hadn't called it just a bullshit. This is just an little increase for the Chinese year and the Chinese will try to dump the price. and it will be burning the price of bitcoin until the other lower level.

It is obvious that Chinese will try to dump the value, but they cannot dump lower than the regular price. they will hold back the rise and that will make traders lose interest for sometime at least.

I agree with you and seeing on the price of bitcoin now it stabilizes on $900- 920 price which is really great for us bitcoin holders specially to those who bought on the lowest price of $780+ as far as i remember and now we are just waiting for the time to reach again $1k price of bitcoin which do happen previously on first few weeks of 2017.
