Check the appearance of the website and must have a very good look. And surely there will be a wallet address for investors. And you have to check whether it's an original investor or not. Checking is very important and you also have to read the Whitepaper.

Suppose if there are a number of ICOs started for different coins by anonymous developers then how can we find that which one the legit ICO and which one is scam ICO?
Honestly, no one can say if an ICO will be successful or not because there are a lot of ICO projects lately that has a good whitepaper, good team and experience developer but some of them achieve a successful project.

There is no guarantee with anonymous devs  that an ICO is legit . By studying the WP, roadmap and what they doing
at Github we can minimize the risk  to avoid taking part in a scam project.

legit projects always offer solutions to other people's problems to make it easy, besides that you have to see their team whether they are a great team or not and if they are a great team then invest there. Also pay attention to the project whether it was ever done a roadshow or never because most of the shitproject teams never showed themselves

You can find potential ico on social networks or through friends who will let you know about potential ico information so you can invest in or participate in bounty programs.

Look for the ones with interviews or working products to find ICOs that will succeed or at the very least won't exit scam. For example, EVOAI has a working product in beta which normal community members beta test which works exactly like they advertised. You can buy their tokens at http://evoai.network.
They also have interviews which you can watch on youtube or on their telegram channel t.me/evoai

I think what we can do is just tried as best as we could to find a good project with ICO by doing some research on the project that we wish to join. And the rest just let the time decide whether its good or not.

If it's scam ICO, stay far away from it. Most of (if not all) ICOs having anonymous dev turned out to be a scam.

You can find tons of guides on how to identify an ICO worth investing. But in truth, it is very hard or near to impossible to get a 100% confidence in an ICO. If you are tech-savvy, then you can dive deep into their code or try to learn more about them, but in the end, ICOs are all about risk and reward system. The more the risk, the better the rewards. I hope that you can hit the jackpot soon! Best of luck!

it won't be that easy you need a lot of time to analyze the project by reading the white paper and some other information. look at and compare the information on the site with the whitepaper to ensure purity

Investing In an ico now is just like betting or gambling. Many scam ICo's out there. However, as we invest in new opportunities while risky, there could be huge ROI if we choose the right one. To avoid fake ICo's, here are some warning signs: Poorly Implemented Website and Whitepaper, The Team Lacks Credibility and Expertise, Lack of Roadmap or underdeveloped or unclear Product Roadmap and Empty repositories for open-source projects. Also, Is there a great Underlying Product Behind the ICO? We need to check out all this before investing in ICo's to limit being scammed.

There are many websites that display reviews about Ico. Like cryptocompare, icobench, etc. But it is quite difficult to determine which projects are legit, valuations are sometimes not accurate, after all, market acceptance cannot be predicted.

You can find a legit ICO by reading their whitepaper, visiting their website, and checking or looking at the team if they are an experience developer. But sometimes even they have all of this good standards some of them are scam.

ICO is not legal. The legal one should be STO. However, STO is still not mature. It is now uncertain whether STO will create a new wave of coins in 2019, so it is more reasonable to abandon ICO investment. It is now worse than gambling.

It must be admitted that at present there are too many ICO scams that make investors worry, I also feel that way, even the high rating of the ICO rating site but that does not guarantee that the ICO is successful.

difficult, because every concept made by ico is almost similar and meets the category. eg the whitepaper, road map, and also the development team. all ico's explanations are the same, but we don't know how ico will run in the middle of the period and at the end of the period.

It was such a long time discovering how to identify a legit ICO. Well, if you are asking if it not a scam or not, my only answer is if it was not found out a scam ICO then it is a legit one. Even legit one can become an unsuccessful project or a scam one, can be a successful one. It is on how it will be implemented and develop. If the team decided to continue with the development, it is legit but if not, it is a scam. Be careful in choosing and supporting a project. Make sure that it will really help everyone and not only those who have participated in it.
