i don't think that the person who have the most bitcoin will show who they are. they will keep it secretly and maybe a few people around them that will know that they have the most bitcoin. beside that, i think its not good to show that for example we said "I have the most bitcoin with the total amount of 1 million bitcoin and i have the proof".

I don't think the question itself will yield any significant answer because it's going to be my word against his and how will he determine if I'm telling the truth? Consequently it's very relative because how can I say I have the most without comparing to others on this platform? It's just a rhetorical question and I think everyone should treat it as such and get this thread locked.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I also wonder who exactly has the largest bitcoin here. maybe it could motivate the newcomers, or a beginner, so that they could collect his bitcoin. but, I do not think they will be showing off all bitcoin they have, because most people will probably think that it is just the nature of the exhibition. but, I'm sure he has more than 50 BTC.

Is this just a stupid question or a very poor phishing attempt? Why would anyone state publicly how many bitcoin they own?

Because they believe their bitcoin which lies behind some pretty reasonably good encryption is protected.  Go ahead, see if you can get mine: 1FpqQnKQCgDkJFMC94JL8FpRyHTZ3uRVZ1  I am betting on the system to win this battle.

Who here on Bitcointalk has the MOST bitcoin?
I'd like to see the top winners prove it, no fakers claiming 1,000,000 BTC please lol

It would be fun to see who the heavy hitters are and what a heavy hitter is defined as.  I want to get an idea of what is considered a lot, or a little.
I'm not sure if I have a lot or a little, so I will ask the community first.  Wink

I'm sitting on a good amount.  Wonder if I have more than anyone else, or not.   If nobody has close to my amount I might keep my mouth shut.  lol

I do not think anyone here is going to give you a clear answer. For example, if someone asks you the following question: You how much money you have on your bank account? Nobody tells the money in the bank account to anyone else. It's like money on a Bitcoin bank account.

ya it is true that even if anyone is holding the high bitcoins but why should he disclose it here on this forum or any where else , is their any bounty so that he can show the proof. Why the OP started the useless topic like this when you are in high position rank.
I don't know, it is quite stupid.
I was about to say signature spam but OP does not have a paid sig.
Does OP expect digital signatures created with high value addresses?

I expected to read a bunch of uneducated claims that hackers would rain from the sky upon anyone who dared talk about bitcoin.
And claims about how anonymity is gone as well.

I have 120 BTC.
So where are the hackers, and why am I still anonymous?
Digital signatures are ok, but I must warn anyone attempting them to move BTC into a new account A then again back where it was or to yet another new account B.  Then only provide a digital signature on Account A that passed the BTC but is not holding it.   Because Digital Signatures feel like a vulnerable way for a private key to be calculated in reverse using the same math as verifying the digital signature.  But lets not argue that, just don't keep anything in an account you gave a digital signature out for.

Well, read enough to looking for the big one. Nice to had you mentioned how much that you have in your wallet.
But, I like to see the address or a screenshot will be fine then. Just for encourage us to earn and save more.

Because they believe their bitcoin which lies behind some pretty reasonably good encryption is protected.  Go ahead, see if you can get mine: 1FpqQnKQCgDkJFMC94JL8FpRyHTZ3uRVZ1  I am betting on the system to win this battle.
So, I take a look at this address and
Total Received   10,689.04448094 BTC
Final Balance.   10,689.04448094 BTC
Just income without spend any coin. Satoshidice hot wallet, luckybit, K8 casino, secondstrade. Is it from gambling? Or profits share from bankroll investment?
I don't know for sure.

I'm not being serious when I say this but one way that you can prove how much you have is either something like a screenshot of your wallet (depending on what medium you are using) or you could send a signed message from your address that says "x owns this address" and prove it that way.

This thread has no need to be locked yet, it isn't a shitshow imo.

You wont get accurate answers here since no one would tend to tell of their bitcoin holdings in public and they would rather choose to keep silent than saying on how many coins do they have and also exposing private information is not really ideal to be on public as we all know hackers and scammers are everywhere no matter how good you are on keeping your bitcoin the risk of lossing it is still there.

That's right! I agreed with dude, I don't know what is in the mind of the questioner behind this topic. It is only common sense to anyone here,    like most people said here scammer and hacker are everywhere. So why they will say their private amount of bitcoin.

I definitely don't have the most Bitcoin on this forum. Don't even have 1 Bitcoin yet. I would have to say that the staff or moderators would have the most amount of Bitcoin. Other than that, I think that most people on this forum are here to earn some Bitcoin and I doubt they have that much Bitcoin. No one would reveal how much Bitcoin they had if it was a really high amount.

To answer your question. Satoshi Nakamoto has the most Bitcoins on this Forum. Estimated 1 Million BTC.
Well of course.

I think Satoshi is the person having most of the bitcoins and the top 500 bitcoin wallets have 50% of bitcoin than rest of the wallets but there is no way to identify the real faces behind those wallets. I think those who have most of the bitcoins are usually miners and then traders. We can trace the rich wallets but not rich bitcoin holders.
Nobody asked about real faces behind wallets.  That would be a pointless thread.

Not asking to trace.   Asking people to brag if they are a whale wallet holder.

You need to educate yourself.  This is NOT your word or HIS word.
We have ways to verify BTC wallet holdings, or are you that new?

You can say you have XX and then compare.   Dude.  Did you graduate high school?
Lock the thread?  lol  why?  Do you think it will create global warming?  omg stfu!!

Thank you!
Yes bragging does motivate people.
Bragging helps people want a lamborghini, Rolex, women etc.
This is the only currency people can show off and remain anonymous, and secure.

Exactly!  Signed, or show an empty one with no history, then show it loaded.

Hackers and scammers?  Pffff,, NOT scared.  ha ha

in order to get an accurate answer and then compare how much bitcoin you have and members of this forum, I think you need to change the question first. when you ask "Who here on Bitcointalk has the MOST bitcoin?", people even do not know whether they are those who have the most bitcoin. just ask the amount of bitcoin people have. so you will know whether you have most bitcoin than others.

Why do you think they require such a clarification?

I have 120.

We can easily say that we can beat your bitcoin, since you do not have proof that you hold that amount much better to have proof like screenshot of your wallet that appearing the balance of bitcoin in your wallet.

I do not think anyone here is going to give you a clear answer. For example, if someone asks you the following question: You how much money you have on your bank account? Nobody tells the money in the bank account to anyone else. It's like money on a Bitcoin bank account.
That is totally different when it comes to Bitcointalk. Here, you are completely anonymous and no one knows who you actually are. Sharing your Bitcoin address and letting other people know how much Bitcoin you have doesn't do any harm. That is the way I see it.

In real life, no one is going to ask that question in the first place, if someone ever does, you would have to be even more stupid than them to answer it. Really, no one is that dumb.

Seriously, demonstrate your honest by being the first to share with proof.

120 is pretty solid but no were near the top. There are guys here that have 1,000s to 10,000s. Guy/Gals that were mining in the earliest days. This is THE Bitcoin Forum, anyone who has been involved in bitcoin since 2009 has (or had) a presence on this forum.

I'm not sure if I have a lot or a little, so I will ask the community first.  Wink

I'm sitting on a good amount.  Wonder if I have more than anyone else, or not.   If nobody has close to my amount I might keep my mouth shut.  lol

This is true we cant really point out whos the one have lots of bitcoin on this forum since members do have different timescale on engaging to bitcoin. Some may the earliest adopters and some arent thats why we cant be sure if anyone is telling the truth and if theres on who shows his wallet ballance bravely then there should be have a proof.

in order to get an accurate answer and then compare how much bitcoin you have and members of this forum, I think you need to change the question first. when you ask "Who here on Bitcointalk has the MOST bitcoin?", people even do not know whether they are those who have the most bitcoin. just ask the amount of bitcoin people have. so you will know whether you have most bitcoin than others.

I did not think people were that stupid.
Why do you think they require such a clarification?

I have 120.

Can anyone beat that?
We can easily say that we can beat your bitcoin, since you do not have proof that you hold that amount much better to have proof like screenshot of your wallet that appearing the balance of bitcoin in your wallet.

Ok  How is this?
This is not great proof, a wallet address, empty then filled is better.

This is real life, and I just posted.
Why is that stupid?
Still anonymous.
