coolkudos,
Every day I check a couple of threads, including Expanse and Ubiq announcement threads - I have tokens on both chains. And I trust neither of them.
Recently, I have asked Expanse representatives questions that matter to me - PoW specifications, developer team structure, proof of membership in Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. All I got were accusations of being a troll and an Ubiq loyalist, neither of which are true.
My attention was caught by your comments, 90% of them are either in strong support of Expanse or in stronger despise of Ubiq.

Could you answer my questions regarding Ubiq:
1. What tokens are Ubiq based?
2. Which developer of Ubiq is/was an employee of Bittrex?
3. Why is there such hate between Ubiq and Expanse communities?

1. QWARK and APX which are both listed on Bittrex and now Cryptopia exchange.
Just recently DOTS and CEFS were swapped by the Cryptopia team with more of their token products being announced soon.
The GEOcoin team is working to move from their PoW chain to a token. Can expect to see Bitseed and SPHR to be swapped over by years end.

2. Julian Yap works as a blockchain code auditor for Bittrex, which allowed him to quit his system engineer job to be full time in the blockchain industry and actually have more time to develop for Ubiq.

3. Seems to be rather one sided as we pay them no mind while we produce results. Our marketing strategies don't involve fudding other projects.

Ubiq has been added to REVEX.CO !

You can now write your opinions and experiences about Ubiq at REVEX.CO/Ubiq

Yes, I think so, too.
Also if smart contracts will get more and more popular the value of ubiq will increase too.

Hi guys. This is an awesome coin. Started to mine at ubiqpool.io.
Pool seems nice, just one question. Where can I change "Min. payout threshold" and what is the default payout threshold? Can seem to find it anywhere on their page.

I can see my mining info under the "miner" tag, "Your Stats & Payment History". But can't see how to change the payout threshold. Is it even posible to change it?

Thank you for any help  Smiley

It cannot unfortunately be done. The payout threshold is set by the pool administrator, the miners have no control on it.
Thank you fabioganga!

That's a god damn lie. UBQ has been fudding EXP since it was Jumbucks and you guys invited the EXP team to come do an AMA. That is your only marketing strategy. To pretend UBQ doesnt have a premine and EXP is evil for the one they have. That is your sales pitch.

What do you mean UBQ produces results, UBQ hasnt produced anything at all unique in an entire year. Not one original thing. Even your codebase is grossly outdated and all you have to do is git rebase. You have no devs and you couldnt even create a pull request if your life depended on it. UBQ is dead in the water but the community you scammed is willing to drown with you. Do everyone a favor and just be honest with yourself.

Meanwhile many ubiq owners/miners have noticed that some (a hand full) users here have nothing positive to say about ubiq.
I personally think this is okay (even if they´re just posting negative things regardless if true or not), everyone should have ist own opinion.

But why the hell -when ubiq is just scam and shit etc. in your individual opinions- you guys are not just quit from this thread and go to the end of the rainbow (alternative coins) where everything is legit, fine and you can make big $$$ within ultrashort time?

I dont say you´re stealing others or my time. No. It´s still exciting and funny to read in an ubiq thread peoples statements that ubiq is evil and everyone is just fuc.ked from the team and so on.
Don´t get me wrong, i´m in mining since just 3 months now, and in my understanding this is a mid- to long term coin (so no rainbow, lambos and chicks ala sex drugs & rock´n roll within days or weeks) but you guy´s are just complaining and crying like little Girls and (again: in my opinion - spreading FUD).

Finally... to check alt crypto charts every day multiple times, and awaiting a huge rise, and saying everything is shit because it´s not rising... i mean wtf? Are you guys 12yr old Boys or what?
So considering to switch to a coin thread where you smart guys believe it´s legit and worth would be healthy for you peoples minds because you would be able to focus on positive things instead of (in my... again opinion) troll around.

I agree that its amazing how quickly in this space people turn on a project when the coin doesn't rise all the time. I personally pay attention to the community that surrounds a coin as well as the idea. It also seems like mining and the amount of people willing to mine a coin seems to be highly correlated to success. Ubiq in my mind has done those three things very well (idea, community, mining). However, it does seem like in order to achieve what they want to achieve they are going to need some real connections in the ethereum community with companies that are willing to transfer their coins/tokens onto the UBIQ platform. That remains to be seen whether that is really a viable business model and I also wish there was more information available as to how the team was doing on that front. It might be more of a matter of time if this recent wave of ICOs decides they need something more stable once Ethereum updates continue to occur, but I do think UBIQ will probably need a bigger team if they are going to succeed with mass adoption.

Can somebody just explain why majority is feeling negative about ubiq in short? When i've bought it in may, it had a real good future.... Until now ive just forget that i won it... Isnt it like when eth stops with mining, some miners could (should) choose ubiq'?

It is hilarious how so many people love to hate on a coin when the price is down.

Maybe it is down for good reason or maybe whales are dragging it down so they can fill up?

Maybe some of the "haters" are just whale bot accounts?

You have to wonder sometimes!

Anyway as the saying goes BTD, BTFD! Wink

Some of the posters are obvious trolls. Anyone else I'm not sure why they're surprised. It seemed pretty likely by late June that the coin was going to have to retest at least the 30k level if not the 20k level. Almost all the alts are having a hard time right now, but after the bitcoin 2mb fork I'm sure we'll see a recovery. Look at this as a buying opportunity.

I'm hoping BTC will have a safe landing. The air is thin up there and the FOMO is losing steam. Soft landing will be good for all coins. Hard landing could result in a crypto winter.

No matter what, I'm happy to continue mining and hodling Ubiq. Smiley
