For Tezos ICO, can we send funds from Coinbase or any other exchange? I can't find any info regarding that.
yes, you can ( is real different from erc20 token ... ) ... because now you only booking your tezos coin ..... will be available in approximately 4 months? (Depends on the testnet and mainnet developers) when you connect to https://crowdfund.tezos.com/#!/step/1 you create you personal wallet ( donwload the pdf with wallet detail ) is real important to use a strong password... sign in a safe place your 15 words ( for recover wallet ) and your password , and public key also ....

They wrote in May in a blog post that main net should be delivered in 3-4 months, but there is also possibility it will took only 2 months if everything will go as they have planned. So main net should be launched most likely Aug/Sept... or maybe even soon after the ICO

they have been working on this since 2014 and have gotten plenty of funding before this ico. Why do they need 4-6 more months? I'd ask them but they are nowhere to be found.

well that's a big question if how they will manage the token value after this ico as many investors already joined here and theres still more coming even the 20% free already ended this coins really gathered more support from the community and even here we are seeing positive feedbacks.

You would think that since they one of the main selling points of Tezos is that it is supposed to be governed by token holders, one of the first things they should have done was to open their own forum, so that people can discuss and ask pertinent questions about the company and the direction want to go.
I know they have a decent amount of literature on their webpage, but in my opinion they should have had a wallet ready (or at least a way to log in to a wallet), aside from just going to check tezos and entering a public key.

I don't think they made up the numbers...it's progressing genuinely Ridiculous funds raised..
I doubt it's legit. The numbers are probably made up to create fomo, who knows for sure how much they have really raised?

With the level of funding recieved so far and the fund not cap, I can't wait to see this project listed on exchange and by the deep. This is insane world, a project with no working product raising 100s of millions of Dollars based on potential of meeting Ethereum valuation.

I agree with this, but lets be honest - not only are most holders' votes not going to matter because of the small number of coins they hold vs the total amount, they won't vote anyway because all they want to do is make profit on their ico purchase. This whole voting thing could actually be worse than a team making decisions, because all you are going to have are a few whales making the decisions.

In my opinion Tezos was positioned to raise a lot more than that but in the last weeks there's been a change in the sentiment of the community about ICOs and a short term downterm started on most projects. So what they raised so far it's even restrained if you consider that. On the other hand, while Tezos doesn't have a product yet, they are definitely backed by some reputable people and investors and they are trying to solve bad situations that both BTC and ETH handled or are currently handling, like governance. I read an interesting thing the other day and it mentioned how blockchains are like countries/governments, there's no only an economic incentive but there are many players, users, "miners", stakeholders, developers, etc, similar to a country with politicians, citizens, workers and others. It's definitely not an easy subject but the future is definitely bright if we can include blockchain tech into our lives, it will benefit us all as a society.

I invested a small amount into this project, but I 100% agree with your above statement. If the voting is truly determined by token holders, then it will be a handful of people making all the important decisions. It will be like if the presidential election took into consideration the Electoral votes of California (whales) vs. Rhode Island (small to avg. investor). The project is seemingly becoming quickly overfunded. If you read the fine print in the conditions of the contribution...it specifically says that your investment doesn't even guarantee you a certain amount of coins..so I wonder how that is going to develop as well.

What, aside from marketing and collecting money, have the team accomplished since they started this thing 3 years ago? I still have no idea why this will be better than eth in any significant way, and if not why would anyone buy it at this valuation?

Who has ever dared to claim this project is comparable (let alone better than) Ethereum? Do you have a link? After BTC, the only ingenious project was Ethereum. It will remain so for many years to come. I have only BTC and ETH because I believe in them.
