Yarr! Doubloons coin is still alive!

Well the blockchain has been running smoothly for years now and the coin is at least trading on BTCPop. Boat has been without a dev for 2 years now and is still here running waiting for a new dev team to pick it up if they want to as I highly doubt that the old dev will ever come back. I tried several times to try and get a dev team but they have always been too busy working on their own projects so its been tough but as long as the chain continues to run we can continue on.

Yeah well you could try asking BTCPop as they seem to have the wallet running 24/7. I wish I could help but I have sent all my boat to BTCPop to stake as I am staking other coins that are active. I have tried many times to get a dev on board but as the coin is only listed on BTCPop its very hard to get anyone willing to work for basically free until the project gets some traction which I don't know if it ever will but we just never know.

I have noticed that the pool on BTCPop has got a little bigger so I'm guessing that more people are switching over to staking on BTCPop instead of running the wallet which will give less connections. I'm still staking and hoping that a dev comes along and picks this up as I think staking will be the new trend for crypto in the coming years.

Well Boat just got listed on another exchange Unnamed exchange. I wasn't expecting this even though it was mentioned in the Boat Discord server a couple weeks ago but didn't think it would happen. The best thing about Boat getting listed on Unnamed is that we have more trading pairs and one of them is Doge which is good to have for a coin valued at 1 sats or less.

Are people crazy for selling their Boat so cheap at under 1 sats. The price was stable for a long time on BTCPop at 1 sats but now people are selling in Doge and for a lot less which is nuts. It must be the ones that want out of Boat after all there is no development and no team but still at the price people are selling at is at a big loss. Anyway people are free to do what they like and in a way I can understand why they want out of Boat.

There is no DOGE market at BTCPop (afaik), so I assume you are talking about trades at Unnamed. However there are zero trades in Unnamed's BOAT-DOGE market history , so I am unsure what you are talking about?

I know there is no Doge market on BTCPop, I'm talking about the sell wall on Unnamed exchange for the Doge market, why are people setting their sells so low when on BTCPop the price is still at 1 sats. Sorry that I didn't explain myself as I mean the sell wall so hopefully this clears it up for you.

At unnamed: there are only sell orders for 3 sat.  No 1 or 2 sat buy orders.

In fact there is nothing at the sell side at all. The only sells are on BOAT-BTC, but sure nobody buys as there is no reason to buy this coin, alas.

Frankly speaking, in this case I would have preferred some activity even at the low price, than zero activity at a high price.

Well when Boat first launched on there I did see sell walls on the Doge pair but now have been removed. Anyway the good news is that Boat has another exchange even though the coin is basically dead with no dev team. I tried many times to get a dev to work on Boat but they see no incentive to do so as there are no funds for them and that they will be working for free.

Well yeah the chain is still running smoothly even though there is no dev here.

I continue to stake and support the chain and so is BTCPop with their staking pool so at least we can keep the chain moving and still hold out hope that something happens here.

Good to see that there is still some community support for this coin but the question is how much longer can it go on like this. The main thing is that the chain continues to run smoothly with no problems and BTCPop is still staking Boat with their pool which is good as they could of stopped the pool as there is no activity from the dev.

The only problem with this exchange with their free listing is that they will need to approve the project and for Boat I can't see this happening as there is no active dev team and the community is basically dead right now so when they take a look at this project, I think they will not approve Boat.
