Can some good person help me sync my wallet? I have some coins in it and cant move them.

go to cmd tool, use "gmc.exe fast"

care to break down? when i do the shift+r click i get powershell option.

in powershell, navigate to the folder with the gmc.exe
then type ".\gmc.exe fast"
in powershell you should see blockchain sync now. after you see it is only updating 1-2 w blocks, start the wallet gui again. should be synced now

when i do this do i fire up gui while the powershell is running? i see it doing stuff so i leave it then close after a few and fire up gui but same issue.

do the command while gui closed. make sure you sync enough until it updates only like 1-2 blocks. after that you close shell and open gui. it seems like nothing happens for some minutes but after a couple it worked for me and I had more than one peer and was able to send some $MC.

also, make sure no firewall blocks the gui

i get this  which shows what block im on and i leave it on for a while but nothing else happens.

I had the wallet for a long time but never moved my coins. I recently updated it and it's not going pass 25% on the sync. How could I fix this?

lol me an you are in the same boat, mine will not freakin sync up anymore, this is kinda sad how this issue is a reoccurring thing with alot of users. All i continue to see is the peer icon go 0-1-0-1-0 and sit at 0

Musicoin it's not really user friendly because you have to do technical moves to get it working. I hope the person doing the wallet updates it's a developer an not just a wanna be.
How are they launching a fork with a broken wallet? I am a bit frustrated with this issues since I downloaded Spectre wallet the same night and that one synced like a boss

it was working perfectly fine for weeks, never once did it miss a sync. now it just wont. i have over 20k coins sitting in wonder land waiting for my wallet.

from my understanding and information from other users, it is best to yank all your coins off the exchanges and store them in your wallet before/during the fork.
currently we are at 1,025,000 only 175,000 to go.
