I definitely think that 2018 could be very big for MUSIC. If you have any connections with musicians or create music yourself, just join platform and help to grow it. Audience will come for quality content and even spend their MUSIC currency. Now price is ridiculous, though it can drop even to 80 sat level. We have pretty harsh competition with some other new projects mentioned in this thread but I think MUSIC can be one of the leading blockchain. We'll see how it goes.

i downloaded the gmc-linux-amd64 release but it says unstable build. is it just a wrong label?

This is normal, it means that EIP-155 is not enabled yet. We will add in future hard fork info on the next release version v2.5.1 soon. I can understand the mining part but sending to exchanges? Why? You can send coins to exchanges, just not from mining or web wallets. There has been an issue where coins are sent to a wallet address under 0x00...0, preventing recipients from receiving coins on their end. Desktop wallets are a much safer route. If you encounter this issue with an exchange, please contact them to resolve this issue. |

There are three variations for musicoin price fluctuation: 1. Whales pump and dump 2. Short price pump - A famous musician joining the network who has more than 20 million followers for example. 3. Long and steady price build up in 2018 - 2019 - plan of developers |

If this is your first time sync, you must wait a few until it is fully updated, it will take a while. We also have the latest version v2.5.1 for upgrade which improves peer discovery, download at https://github.com/Musicoin/go-musicoin/releases.
