The difficulty bomb is a difficulty timer for the start of ice age. For ethereum, it had already started. For now, you won't notice the slight change of difficulty increase but it will become more noticeable as it gradually increase to an exponential rate. By the time ice age comes, both ethereum and musicoin will experience a sharp increase in difficulty and drastic reduction in coin emission.
