Finally found the link that explains the profitability factor - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260863.msg15933612#msg15933612

So basically it is just the hash rate... I quickly checked my GTX 970 and got the following:

myr-gr=40,lyra2v2=21,neoscrypt=0.5,blakecoin=2.4,c11=9.9,groestl=20,blake2s=2.2,x17=6.6,nist5=27,skein=290,sib=7.3,lbry=149,timetravel=14.6,decred=1.5,veltor=19,bitcore=9

Are they all to be measured in MH or is some of them in GH?

thats all correct that will work very well ! yeh most are in MHS except for blake algos and decred which are GHS but you already have them set correctly  note: if you want to enable equihash the code would be 1070=420sols=                               "equihash=0.42"
Regards Nemo

I made a tool which creates it for you. A couple post down  there is a link to the excel version

I would like to test zpool on a small rig with a 970 and a 1050Ti, but I can't figure out the settings which work. If I plugin the hashrates, I always get an error which states a CPU validation error, claymore and nicehash however work as expected.

Could you please help me? Do you just sum the hash rates? Thx

this may not work well with cards below the 1060.. i built and tested this for the 1070 and made sure it worked with the 1060.. i will add a new bat file to 1.7.3 for cards below the 1060 i will have to add a few custom -i commands.. i have a 1050ti so ill test 1.7.3 on that

start with a low intensity and go up from there until you get an error or invalid shares. then step it down .5 until its stable.

Code:
-i 17

Thank you very much, -i 20 worked and I will give it a try. I hope it will be ok for every algorithm ...

Plz don't tell me that I have to set the intensity level for every single algorithm for both GPUs. That's not worth the 1% fee saving compared to nicehash

Hi there @minerx117 - you are using EWBF Version 0.3.3b in the MPH version right? Any idea why if I add the --pec flag it makes my miner not work? All the GPUs return an error 4 or something then don't hash.

Also, currently if I look at the autoswitches set for my miner, then I go to that dashboard, it doesn't show any hashrate at all. Have I done something wrong maybe?

Crypto currency enthusiast and miner since 2015. Mined approx 200 ETH during 2016 and 2017 and sold it at approximately $US40 each. Then I watched it reach $1000+ each. If anyone bothers to read this stuff pay attention to this: HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL HODL

I started mining with 1 AMD 7950 and 1 R9-280X. Then I gradually built my AMD operation into 12 R9-290s. Awesome ETH hash but ridiculous power consumption and heat. Over the last year I defected to the Nvidia team. I now use GTX 1070s. They were expensive to buy (probably a bargain now) but awesome hash rate vs. power consumption. blah blah blah blah

correct EWBF 0.3.3b latest version.. why do you need to add  --pec ? the dashboards in MPH will take at least 5-10mins of mining before it will show a hashrate..

I have a problem with Alexis and Skein. My normal hash rate should be ~4.6GH/s, but sometimes it takes a couple minutes for all the cards to initialize and sometimes it never gets there.

Is there something I need to reset or clear memory?

Itried increasing the swap memory and I am currently at 32GB-42GB

cashen - go into bat file and change the letter at the start of skein command so it uses Tanguy instead of Alexis78 also ssd not hdd, this may help you..  4.6ghs? is that 7x1070? or 1080's? i dont tend to worry about the graphs to much i just monitor ccminer console but that graph does look like it droped a gpu or 2 at some point.....

The GPUs do not start at all. They sometimes do and they sometimes dont. I should start tracking to see which ones they are.

It is a 7x1080 rig.

I noticed before, I think when overclocking/underclocking certain video cards, that some versions of miner apps/algos would cause the video card to go into P5 or P8 state;  severely impacting performance; requiring a reboot or hard reset of the driver... I.E. intervention.

See what algo it was switching to and from, try and narrow it down by disabling ones it was switching between one at a time... might help.  I found that neoscrypt caused it the most.

Link to my batch and script resources here.

Started getting this problem since yesterday, this is the second time.  Not sure if it's just timetravel, but real problem lies with "Stratum connection interrupted" and then it just sits there until I restart the miner.  Is there a way to let it auto restart when connection interrupted happens?

everything looks fine its just switching algo....from timetravel to something else is it switching or is it just hanging?? my 1.7.2-zpool test rig is not having any problems..

Yes hanging and no mining after after:

[2017-05-06 20:54:32] Stratum connection interrupted
[2017-05-06 20:54:33] ...terminating workio thread

, but so far it hasn't done it again.  I was thinking maybe my internet connection got interrupted for a while and doesn't auto reconnect and after testing this by purposely interrupting my internet it actually reconnected fine and continued mining after showing:

[2017-05-07 16:41:21] Stratum connection interrupted
[2017-05-07 16:41:33] Stratum connection failed: Could not resolve host: blake2s
.mine.zpool.ca
[2017-05-07 16:41:33] ...terminating workio thread
*** ccminer alexis-1.0 for nVidia GPUs from alexis78@github ***

so not sure what made the them hang the other two times without retrying.  If it does happen again I'll just check if it's always the same place.

Hi @minerx117

sorry if you have already answered this question before - I have to go to work and don't have all the time to read back through again....

in the zpool .bat file why have you REM'd out the lines

REM SET A01=equihash
REM SET A02=lyra2z
REM SET A04=x15
REM SET A17=x11evo

and

REM %C% --server %A01%.%POOL% --port 2142 --fee 0 --eexit 2 --user %ADDY% --pass %PASS%
REM %B% -r 0 -a %A02% -o stratum+tcp://%A02%.%POOL%:4553 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
REM %A% -r 0 -a %A04% -o stratum+tcp://%A04%.%POOL%:3733 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
REM %A% -r 0 -a %A12% -o stratum+tcp://%A12%.%POOL%:3933 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
REM %B% -r 0 -a %A17% -o stratum+tcp://%A17%.%POOL%:3553 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%

is it because these algos cause problems?

I have had the experience that if I try enabling equihash it gives me some kind of error and doesn't mine properly.

and another thing which is weird to me - I run 2 x 1070s and 2 x 1060 6GB.

I noticed that when zpool chooses c11 algo - the 1070s are way up there in the mh/s but the 1060's are only doing hk/s - do I have to set different intensities or something when I have different GPUs on the same rig?

no errors equihash runs great i just don't find it profitable so leave it disabled atm.. REM just disables those algos if you want to enable equihash remove REM eg:
SET A01=equihash
%C% --server %A01%.%POOL% --port 2142 --fee 0 --eexit 2 --user %ADDY% --pass %PASS%

also need to add speed to password 1070=420sols  "equihash=0.42"
