Ragin had a questionable trading record before this group buy and it may be too late to make any sort of change as Avalon will be very close to shipping this April order.

Ryepdx would be ok with me. My concern is logistics. If Raging is receiving the chips, how does this work? Can Avalon orders have their shipping address changed?

It appears that we are about to have tens of thousands of dollars of chips shipped to an unverified address.
At this point we need to change the shipping arrangements.
JohnK, can you work with Ryepdx to get a new verified shipping address and contact Avalon ASAP to have them update the shipping address?
Ryepdx, once this is confirmed, we need to send you our shipping info for our chips. We haven't paid shipping for our individual chip orders, so that will need to be arranged also.
RagingAZN, I hope that your family issues get worked out, but this is too much money to have floating out there for any length of time. I wish you the best.

I've already verified my identity and address with JohnK as part of his identity escrow service for Stumptown Miners, so he should know what address to redirect the chips to if that is indeed the direction we're going.

I sent an email to the address Thomas (ragingazn628) had us use to send him our shipping addresses. In the email I asked him to chime in over here, because everyone's getting nervous. Here's hoping he shows up soon.

I'd prefer if Ryepdx just takes over shipping pass-through at this point. We don't want to be dependent on Raging any more. We don't want to be begging for status updates and attendence to our thread. I feel like a BFL customer over here.

So... Honestly, a leader change is good for Thomas, as far as I can tell, since it saves him trouble.
Furthermore, Avalon is shipping already. This is not a good time for him to be absent, even for a genuine emergency.
128 chips vote for ryepdx, if we can get an address change this late in the game.

Can we get a link or a source regarding Raging's questionable trading record? Sorry guys I've been busy with RL stuff. Yes we can use an escrow. Yeah the heatware stuff was a misunderstanding. I didn't scam anyone. And as for eBay I just said fuck it and neglected it ;/ - I definitely took my losses though. Lesson learned.

Minimally if you can be there for shipping to oversee the transition I think everyone would feel better on that. Shipping can't be changed but someone can be there right? Where is Raginazin... he need to step up and agree to something like this if he is unable to handle the shipping as agreed to originally. Are you able to ship to us a promised Raginazin or do you need a chaperon? 540 chips voted for ryepdx to take over or oversee the shipping. Do you need funds for this effort Ryepdx or are you volunteering? |

God Fucking Damnit IN CASE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGES AND THEY GO TO RYEPDX OR ANYONE ELSE I have 572 chips in Batch #1, I bought them from dserrano5 and atsecure. ragingazn628 is aware of this but has not been around for the last ~10 days THE SPREADSHEET IS NOT CORRECT, it does NOT list me as the owner for these chips. dserrano5 and atcsecure are listed highlighted in RED. This shit is getting messy. I want those chips sent to Burnin, I've already paid for the PCB assembly with them. I'm not even sure how the shipping out would work if the shipping of the 10k batch changes I seriously wonder if it can even be changed. Avalon is also fucking 100% MIA and ocmpletley fucking unresponsive. I doubt we can change where they are shipping the 10k chips I thought I had seen ragingazn post on these forums a phone # somewhere if people needed to contact him, does anyone recall something like that? |
