is anyone else curious whether the recently depressed price is the result from miners selling?

The miners can sell 115k FTC per day which is roughly 1.5 BTC. There are no large sell orders either. 25 BTC up to 3k sats on Bittrex.

I'm not suggesting that accumulated miner holdings are being sold, my curiosity is whether they are sold as they are mined. This would be about 10-20% of the daily trading volume (which is currently very low) and be enough to cause a severe imbalance (downward pressure) in an otherwise balanced market.

Of course, it could be a whale who keeps selling...perhaps worth looking at the rich list earlier this year and check out what happened to those holdings?

I think that I will take this as a long term investment at least when they sell cheap it, maybe a way to go.

agree , i think that this a very good long term investment this coin is also already a long time alive and a lot off people already used it for their long time investment so it is a good coins otherwise it was already 0 satoshi

Easy money for certain group of the people, so FTC will never succeed, as it is known well as pump and dump coin, and can not attract any one serious to invest in it. It is a shame because FTC deserve better

Its a temporary shame, its like that with most projects right now, its so easy to pump them if you have a few 100K or even a million, so why not take advantage of that and pump a coin right before a new release or update? You could probably make a few 1000 bucks a minute

I read about the project on Steemit and researched it, and I bought some Feathercoins at roughly 1200 satoshis!
And what happens some days after I buy them? They moon! Already at 1770 satoshis now, incredible.

I have to say that the devs and the whole rest of the team behind Feathercoin seem to be doing a great job! THANK YOU!!

i remember a situation in bear market long time ago where there was a bigger sell wall in poloniex on a coin (i forgot which one) than the actual supply.
