Maybe the btc-e seller didn't want to miss the bitcoin train. Selling 100K LTC might have taken too long  Cheesy
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I'd like to.. it's just that I stepped into BTC 10 mins ago lmao. If I had more Fiat I could save my margin and step into LTC aswell.

Hell no, I'm staying far away from LTC. I dumped all my holdings as soon as ASICs started hitting the market, there's really nothing to differentiate it from BTC anymore, wouldn't be surprised if it continues to go down. I'd rather bet on an alt that is trying something new like XMR.

[LTC on BTC-e] its no bug, all exchanges are massive down. Still doesnt make sense.
It may have been a glitch that triggered a real panic selling.  We saw that recently with BTC on Huobi. (The glitch has since been edited out of bitcoinwisdom's charts.)

Well it looks like the LTC bear market is going to resolve itself sooner rather than later.

I know, I know, LTC is dead, "ASICS", blah blah blah.

LTC is not dead. YET. It will rise at least 1 more time. And the time to position yourself to 10x your profit on that rise is coming sooner than later. Blood is starting to accumulate up the road and soon it will be in the streets.
