Day/weektraders hurt everything they touch.
Investors who once every few months/years 'trade' something, cannot be put into the same category once they 'sell'.

Wrong.

Traders help price discovery.

Traders only help themselves, instead of the invested good or company. Price discovery can be done without daytrading.

Exactly. The pumps and dumps especially through Bitfinex have nothing to do with price discovery. They only hurt Bitcoin.

...China will claim to have defeated Bitcoin and will then point at the dollar. The USD will crumble faster than Bitcoin.

Wow, considering selling here
Just hate to see it go up after.

if it works the same with you as with me, it will shoot upwards as soon as you sold.

if you keep that in mind and not sell, it will just continue to crash.

easy.  Wink

Yea, that's pretty much the only thing that have discouraged me from trading with a bigger sum of money

I put half my money in silver. It has a brighter future than Bitcoin.

Chinese yuan.
Get used to saying that if Bitcoin dies. China will claim to have defeated Bitcoin and will then point at the dollar. The USD will crumble faster than Bitcoin.

Sentiment among legendary members seems to be at an all time low, lower even than when we were stuck at $300. This was my sign to sodl
I didn't say I was selling. I'm just an an old curmudgeon telling the trolls to get off my lawn.

I think everyone is waiting for the regulations to come down. It is the elephant in the room (whether you agree with the reg concept or not).

Before that, while the stock market pushes up or the dollar does, then bitcoin will stay in a bear market.

Either way...the slow bleed was killing it. I still have an incidental amount. But I'm taking the 'Bitcoin is an experiment' approach a lot more seriously

I'm considering to stop looking at the bitcoin price for the next few months but then I risk losing all money...
And miss opportunities to buy in low if I decide to do that.
This market really is a bitch man
You were quite young weren't you? This is good learning opportunity for you, just watch and ride it out. Forget about the profits you had for a moment and just watch this bear market. Better times will come, soon or not.

Sometimes things fail and die out. This is one of them. Give me one good reason why after 6 years (of which the last year was total shit) we suddenly will go up again. Why will things get better? It already failed.

Bitcoin did not fail even if its worth 1$ . Price doesn't matter.

And even if it does this is great price , bitcoin is still worth 344x more than dollar .

Of all the goofy trading strategies, this one comes closest to guaranteeing loss.
Impressive.
