Crosspost:

Stamp might be sitting on loads of unclaimed bitcoins from traders who are incarcerated or failed to submit kyc documents. However, most governments require unclaimed funds be turned over to the State. Perhaps Stamp believes it has legal standing to keep bitcoins on grounds that such laws apply to fiat funds only? Weak argument, but may buy Stamp some time.

Would anyone be surprised by this after Stamp's requirement of ID verification last fall?

To the folks talking about high number of shorts open: A high number of BTC swaps is a necessary condition to a big short squeeze, not a sufficient one. It needs reasons for panic buys to actually squeeze the shorts. Will there be one?

Here is the thing. Simply the existence of a vulnerable short position is reason alone. And it is all time high 25,600 open, not just high Smiley

There's been all this awesome publicity lately about scams, criminals, broken exchanges and people losing fortunes... and price still isn't rising? I thought this was supposed to attract new users who want to "be their own bank"!  Cheesy Cheesy

We'll see shortly.

With your >5000 posts in 9 months bashing bitcoin you can be fairly sure you have zero impact on the readership of this forum Lambchop, or is it FatherBob, or FreeBambi, or Warren Buffert! I keep losing track!

Even if it breaks that one, I bet that we can find two other points on the chart that will define a long term uptrend that still supports the price.  Wink

The next hour is critical, I'm not joking. It could almost decide breaking resistance at 320$ or going down hard again.

Looks like the bullish scenario is favored short term. I'm expecting to test resistance at 303$ soon.

I dunno.  Started posting here when the price was above $500.  Below $300 nao.  Coincidence, you say?
