itbit is a fund, coinbase is an exchange

ITBIT is the first regulated exchange in New York. They also announced 3 three new prominent (financial industry respected) board members. Getting good media play in the US market.

It's interesting how little volume was needed for this increase compared to the previous dump  Wink

at the effective rate of $550/BTC!

thats more than double than the real price of btc, thats insane...  Shocked

bear should arbitrage real btc there instead of being bear all the time

You can't. You need shares to sell

Let's remember that this is 226.8BTC. I know a lot of people will think this means 2268BTC...

hey at least vol seems to be rising

in a week or so GBTC will be in full swing, with a more reasonable price like 3200$ per share  Grin

I don't think so - only Bitfinex has that major volume gap, and that's due to their "bug". Bitstamp, Huobi, etc. are moving at a typical rate per the volume.

Yeah, this is good news. Just don't get too excited just yet. (Of course there is more good news on the horizon)

Ahhhhh just logged in to see a small pump.
Let's hope it continues, it seems so long that I can't even remember what 300 USD feels like.
Would be nice to get upto 250 by the end of the week.
So many positive things for bitcoin being held up by regulators etc atm.
I think we'll look back on this price after the halving next summer & laugh.

The only way is up now people, the bear market will be over soon.

A lot of people were forced out of their positions due to this glitch. That has to have repercussions of some kind. We might just as well see another jan 13-14 crash. But idk, I'm lubed up both at the front and the back atm, hoping to get lucky.

"I'm lubed up both at the front and the back atm, hoping to get lucky" -- This created an image in my mind that I find hard to reconcile with the subject of this forum...  Cheesy
Reading this gave me the energy and drive to accomplish my goals.

If only we could recover from this couple dollar drop, breakthrough the ~240$ resistance, and SOAR TO THE MOON
