In the past few hours (after the news of the a-Greek-ment) BTCUSD looks a helluva lot like EURUSD.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Still a bull market medium and long term. Staying above $240 takes us out of the bear market.

Hmm... EUR/USD is down on the deal, spiked briefly but then took a dive.

As for Bitcoin I'm thinking we'll stay above 280.

I agree 100%! I think we hit $300 a little early due to some manipulation (aka: regular trading behaviour) and today's sell-off is going to bring us right back on track. I also think that traders are trying to catch some noobs panic selling on the way down and then we'll resume our upward momentum.

If they had the entire daily mining supply. Which of course they don't.

With every passing day the mining supply is less of an issue in terms of setting the price.

So they are going to blow all their profits by dragging the price down... not very intelligent.

Edit: is anyone aware of a shop that sells things at the same price it costs to make/aquire them?

Slightly irritating the price didn't chug along just a few 10's further before the twatmanipulator sold.

It would have been very easy to keep the bull going.. Huh

presumably they only sell what they need to cover their costs. selling any more would make the thing they are acquiring worth less overall.

and this seems pretty consistent with the apparent behaviour of the markets.

Bitcoin is all about getting people to panic sell and panic buy (low, high)
