It will be interesting to watch GBTC this week. Each share represents .09653305 BTC at this time so at 315 we are looking at a share price of $30.41 which is about where it closed last Friday.

So far it has traded well above its NAV, but I just think that is because it has been super clunky with low volume. Hopefully volume will pick up and it will start to mirror BTC more accurately.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Wonderful to be on holiday with bitcoin entering orbit..

I hope this run has a bit more steam. Raising my glass to the bitcoin bulls who held strong and bought through the dark times Smiley

Haven't sold a coin in over 2 years. Bought the dips all the way down and back up again, with my biggest purchase mid-January. Waiting for a buyable dip since June 1 and still waiting.

Never once lost faith or ever doubted that Bitcoin would soar again, but I'm still waiting for $700 before getting too excited.

We bulls and "Bitcoin cultists" took a lot of flak along the way but it must be clear to even the thickest-headed beartards that their precious little bear run is over. Vindication is sweet.

Cheers bro and enjoy your vacation.

Just sold my stash. Following Chessnut's prediction. 2000 CNY reached in China, I hope we can see a correction now. Anyone else?

GBTC is a fairly closed system. It might explode when the pressure rises. Might produce some news articles, but otherwise a poor indicator of anything for the rest of us.

stash - this means all of your BTC, majority or just few of them? I think, that correction will be somewhere around 315 - 320USD considering last moved and market mood:) but I don't expect fall under 300USD anyway..

About 50% which I keep on an exchange for trading. I sold @ 309 on BTCe, which seems to be close to the high. Im hoping to buy back slighty under 300.

I hope so mate. We have to be very happy with how things are going. I don't mind a retrace, I almost expect it bit it'd be nice to not go below 300 ever again.

I agree with you in that it is a fairly closed system. I also don't look at it as an indicator of anything. My thought is that the shares represent another way to invest in Bitcoin and the more accurately they track the BTC price the better.

I wouldn't want it to have to close or for the creators to decide to delist because it was acting poorly or volume was so laughable.

well, even I'm usually not so bullish, it is not more likely, that we will move within 48 hours to 340, than we will drop below 300. We already reached 6m maximum today and finally I see the train, this time filled with lot of "healthy" fuel..

@Philip: but you earn lot of USD with it right? Everybody have risk borders somewhere, you don't need to feel bad or something, even if it will raise and raise..

Missed my buy at 283 by 1$ or so yesterday - bought at 310 today, sent another 1000 euro to Stamp..
I'm going all in on 300-305 if my funds reach in time to catch the re-trace.
It's all in time, for me.

Good luck, and trade well.

Bitcoins + cash from localbitcoins = Bitcoin user not affected.

This is what ive been expecting - what happened to your savings? confiscated/stolen?
