Do you realize we've been in triple digits for one week now? 18K BTC down to 100, and we just hit 3-day highs. The Gox trading engine is lagging, which is usually a bullish signal. S3052 tweeted "Bitcoin trading to become more violent in the next few months." Interesting times ahead.

That part would make me extremely suspicious. ("The great and wise benevolent leader blogger has concluded that price now must go up uP UP.")

Suspicious of what?

That we're about to go down. But I had mistaken him for another guy, ignore.

I don't need S3052 to tell me, i know.  Cheesy

Market indicators do not suggest right now an imminent drop, on the contrary, if the current trend
continues we will soon be above the sub-wave of August 2nd. The only way I see possible right now
to go down is by a massive whale dump, something like ~20k BTC down to 99.

I wouldn't rule it out but a this stage I suspect the price will continue to rise for a while before it falls to new lows.

yes, ok, i see it similar. in the end of july we had a rise from 93 to 111. with a decreasing volume of buys. now the consolidation without much action. last day, maybe starting with the weekend, we see increasingly more volume for buys, and we are about to break the one week height of ~108. 3k left, and this will certainly be re-tested.

In order to the 5-th wave theory to work, we'd need to break above $112 by a fair margin. Otherwise, we've essentially just got a dumb ranging market on our hands.

If some whales help the push, 112 is easy. In fact, I moved my sell order from 111.9x to 114.9x, just in case...

Is gox implementing any other new features?

we should respect his privacy though and take it down, just on principle. though he is foolish for not blacking out the text entirely, perhaps twice over

Why be so shy though Smiley Wonder how many more of you here hold 10k+ of BTC... maybe I do?  Shocked

He also had 14 open orders, a lot of walls may be his, interesting.

We have some whales in this thread, although mr. inbox decided to delete his post Sad I hope I have a copy of the screenshot cached on my main machine  Cheesy

reminds me of some user that posted a screenshot of btccharts.com some months ago,
and right in the corner a chat window was open with discussion with someone named "satoshi".
could be a hoax but pic disappeared as soon as some other user told him the mistake.
nonetheless always have some tinfoil by hand when reading this thread. Cool

besides this forum is still the central place where most of the early adopters are bustling...so seems logical to meet a whale from time to time.

ok, things not moving as fast as anticipated, I'm going to revise my $1000 by Friday (up from $300) down a bit to $337. Seems more reasonable.

Well, if you push it up to 112, I'll do my best to push it to 112.5.  Wink
