There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

has there ever been a better reverse indicator? You did a great job predicting this crash two days ago, then you ruined it with your "450 will hold" post. The Adam reverse indicator doesn't work every time, especially if you make two contradictory predictions close together. hitting that 465 resistance again and again, who the fuck is nutty enough to break and buy through it? we should head down.... can't paint TOO many bubbles  |
